To increase production is to increase workers to have more chemical production,

The path does seem to need moving, I am using the factory connection.....

Any chance to add several more paths..? The size of the plant would benefit from multiple access.

Is it possible to move a little bit pedestrian entrance (on the opposite side of conveyor belt input)? It seems impossible to use factory connection and pedestrian entrance at the same time.

Yup you need 67% water quality for production AND then you need a minimum of 97% water quality for drinking.

Good result, some might not realise that both water supplies.

Not a great deal is obvious with this update, much is left to "figuring it out". When you have done that it is a very good major update.

Hello,Vimes, after looking for other sources I read, that I need to provide BOTH water via the plant connection and via the water substantion. That was not obvious. Now the plant works normally.

I have not yet built this within my game to replace the original non water version. I am converting my 65k population map to that of water and sewage usage. Then, in time, I will hope to use this adapted factory.
I am not suggesting that your issue is related to sewage, you do mention water only, I am trying to understand if sewage is working as expect as well.

Put aside the fact that the chemical works needs water for production and sewage, just for waste from production. If it did not need that it would still require drinking water and waste removed from the drinking water, like, for example, the other industries do.

However I have not yet connected a food production, concrete, chemical plant, etc to my in the process of being built water and sewage system to know if they indicate there is a water production problem, not enough or none, or if they will also indicate there is a water drinking problem separately..?

Hello, Vimes, what does it mean "do you have both the water pipe connected for production and then water available to drink?" The water pipe is connected, sewage is connected, + water cistern goes with water to the plant, the plant shows that the water tank is full. There are no water tanks separately for "technical" water and for "drinking" water; also, why do you ask for sewage? The game says that the problem is about water, not sewage

Despite several approaches, the mod is still not working correctly with the last water upgrade. I see the tank full of water, but the factory window says that the plant is without water. Already a few weeks passed since the water update, but the mod is still not fixed.

So I build it, and as soon as I connected a water pipes the game crashed.

second, even if I didn't connect pipes and started running the plant, there was no sewage exported so it stopped working after a while.

I looked ad some other chemical buildings that worked fine and compared the 2 files.

I added the following to lines to the config:( SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\784150\1999045576\chem_plant\building.ini )

$STORAGE_IMPORT RESOURCE_TRANSPORT_WATER 50
$STORAGE_EXPORT RESOURCE_TRANSPORT_SEWAGE 50

It runs like a charm now.

I added the following lines to the building.ini file to add a couple of pedestrian attachments to the corner on the left side of the road entrance. Works fine.

This is a great model but the lack of any pedestrian connections makes it very hard to use. Please consider adding some ped connections around the building.
