Two wishes.

-Could you put in a Collision toggle, I have to place buildings then go back and place Boundary markers to prevent AI building

-Could you add a Random function so I could pick an Era and a Category, and maybe a level, then the selections would be random. This would help when building suburbs.

I noticed that there is a problem, the asset function does not work! Also, some buildings are not displayed, but instead, the squares are white! Especially the era of B and C. Can this be somehow fixed?

Hello Mad Hatter,

Thank you for the great mod - 9 out of 10 points.

But there is a luxury problem: the dropdown menus. With the many buildings, the selection of buildings is exhausting. Perhaps another solution can be found for this, e.g. a separate button for each building. My mouse wheel will thank you ;)

It is such a nice mod, thank you. With all asset mods and country side mod you can build youre entire world.

I notice the asset function is not working?, also some buildings are not showing up but instead a white square box? Do is miss something?

And is it possible just like the country side buildings mod, some people use cars? It is so strange that having a crowded city but no cars?

Do i miss something or need other mods also? :)

Locking the road only stops the AI from building new roads connected to it and from upgrading the road. The AI will still build on locked roads, unless they are country roads.

Sebatian.me - I thought about the collisions option. Hmmm I wonder, if you lock the road to prevent the ai mucking about with it does it still build on top of 'your' buildings. I assumed not - but I didn't check.

Yup. I’ve tried them all and they don’t offer the flexibility that your mod offers. The only thing that’s missing from yours is the ability to switch on collisions to prevent the AI from building over the places buildings

Sebastian.me - Oh really - I wasn't going to do the other eras because the other mods exist but if the assets are missing I'll have a look - might be a while as it is a fair amount of work.

Works great now. I hate to be that guy, but if you could find it in your time to extend this mod for the other eras, it would be really appreciated. Currently you can get the other buildings, but most are without assets and you can only get the ones that attract people for era B res 1, com 1 and ind 1.

Okay found out why the assets work for me and not for you guys - for now if you want to place buildings with assets you need debug mode switched on in the settings. No idea why this works in debug mode but not in normal mode.

Did you forget to add 'local' before your variable

then the call stack complains about mdhtr_scripts/com_2_4x4_01.lua line 263 and base_config.lua line 35

I've had the same issue. Selected commercial, then one of the big buildings and then clicked on assets.

Hi A guy called PI - I guess you could. For me the interface is messy anyway when you have three lists to pick from and which one 'works' dependent on another menu choice. If you added era selection as well then you would have 9 lists to pick from dependent on the settings of two other menu choices. Doable but....

Would be nice to have one mod for every era of buildings. The guy that made the other mod said he wasn't interested in Era A. I don't see why there should be 3 mods for it.
