For the other two comments with problems, I assume not all mods/assets from the map collection where activated
@Krakyn At the moment I'm not working on any maps, although my head is full of ideas and my folder full of started projects. But I might not find the time to continue anything until autumn. For a tropical islands map you can try out my map "Carriacou".
But I do have difficulties removing/changing two water sources in the starting square, not with the others though. Extra landscaping tools doesnt do it also.
Sadly the game engine is crap, so I mostly stick with 20-35fps (with some mods ofc).
Anyway, this sounds more like an incompatibility with another Mod you might be using. I've never heard of an error where water is missing before. Please try deactivating all other Mods than those I've listed in the map collection and see if the error still exists. If not, then reactivate your Mods again one by one to find the troublemaker.
The map looks unfinished, missing water and trees etc,
I subscribed all the add-ons.
