Is it just me, or does this mod's config file lack the XcomClassData.ini file? I want to add these perks to the base game's pool

Last time I tested Entrench with Deep Cover , Deep Cover did not proc

do I still need this mod if I'm using A Better Arsenal or A Better Barracks Arsena?

I love using this mod, the perks are great. And since I'm playing in a campaign that have lots of missions, I was wondering if there a way to nerf ABB_TrialbyFire? Maybe a hard cap on the amount of aim and will a soldier gets from the perk would be cool. Anyway, thanks for posting this mod and making the game a lot better.

@Selevan Open XComGameData_WeaponData.ini replace +PsiAmp with +BioAmp for all three lines (T1, T2, T3). Or JUST copy the original lines and paste them below and replace those. That should let it use both. Make sure this runs after the Biotics class mod.

Is there any way i can make biotic amp (from biotic redux mod) as a viable weapon for soul mania?

@zin You need to assign the abilities via XComClassData.ini. Otherwise, only custom classes that have this mod as a requirement are going to have these abilities appear normally. It's basically the same as the way Mitzruti's Perk Pack works. Mid-campaign install is fine, however, any class you make edits to mid-campaign needs to be respec'd with the console.

Are these abilities available in the Training Grounds? Or, perhaps, only available from there?

Sweet mod! Just wondering, how does one get these perks? Are they randomly assigned to any class when levelled up?

This does not replace any perks or change how rookies or levelling up works, right? Also, can you install this mid-campaign?

I just tested it in my game and it works fine. Unsub/resub to this mod and then do respec if it's still not working.

Just updated this mod as well as the Shadow Ops Classes mod. Soften Up still not showing up unfortunately for the combat eng. Tried a rebuildselectedsoldierclass without success.

unfortunately, the SoftenUp ability doesn't show up in the game, even after the 20th December update.

Since i noticed it in description. I've added Trial by Fire and Interrogator to my AWC perk pool and had them shown in the game and they worked fine for me.

If only Trained Sniper ability allowed to use squadsight with vector rifles as well( ..

This mod contains perks, Better Barracks Arsenal cotains weapons. Both mods can be used together.

I must have done something wrong. Used the mod you refert to in the comments. Added the perks to that list accoring to what is said. Still dont see them. As for wich xcomclassdata.ini do i add the perks otherwise? Not that used to modding files

@Cúchulainn Pretty much, yeah. Most of my class mods make use of them. You don't need the dev tools to use them though, you can just mess with XComClassData.ini files in Notepad or whatnot.

So do these perks not apply at all bc they're just not implemented? it's just a perks list for modders to use?

Just finished a campaign with about 280 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

Seems the last update created a conflict between mods, but i can't find wich mod is in conflict whit your mod. I disable this one and the game works properly again

Any chance you can port over ABB's Templar perks? Having a Templar focused on Volt rather than Rend was neat.

Disregard my request; Mitzruti has done what I was asking for in the 2/7/21 update to the Mitzruti's Perk Pack mod. This provides individual perks for free acid, EMP, and gas grenades.

(Pt. 2) ...and Gas grenades (along with any types that I'm not recalling.) As far as I know, no perks of this sort currently exist for any grenades beyond smoke, flash, incendiary and standard explosives.

@Kiruka - If possible, I was wondering if you might consider creating a couple of additional perks similar to the ShadowOps "Pyromaniac" - functionally the same (1 free item added to soldier's inventory), but for alternate grenade types such as the Acid and EMP grenades?

@neIVIesis To follow up to my previous response, I may have some good news. I'm working on a new project right now that will, among other things, bring the ABB-style cannon and shotgun.

@nelVlesis I hadn't planned on doing weapon-specific abilities but I'll keep it in mind next time I come back to this.

@Kiruka Any chance you can also include the custom perks from weapons used in ABB? For example, shotgun has Deep Cover and Single Reload for shotgun, and LMG has the Spray and Full Reload.
