Is this still working? I unlocked the Mage Area (hand over an item) and while shopping kept hearing an eagle screech played what seemed to be over and over again.

Haha, this is great. Damn dog in the first town made me think my RL dog was barking faintly outside. GOnna pre-emptively shut up the eagle because that on loop would be grating! Thanks

These noises really bothered my dog. If only I could disable the noise wolves make when they're hit/dead, he always perks up and look worried when I kill one.

Maybe this isn't doable, or asking too much, but would it be possible to get a mod that would give the player a checklist of various background noises and we could choose which we want to have on or off? Just an idea.

Did you start a new game? Addons can't be applied to a game in progress (without mucking around in the save file.)

Although I have this mod and it is activated in the add-on menu, it doesn't seem to work. I'm in Derth now and hear the dog / eagle. Might be because ToME just released a new version?

It should not Tamren. I've unlocked several achievements and classes with a custom class.
That was a while ago though so they may have changed it, though I think not.
