za'roc is eragons first word. but it wasnt really his sword. za'roc was stolen. brom killed morzan. later in the books murtagh (morzan's son) claims his rights of za'roc. and then eragon goto the elven city and get forget a new sword. called brisingr this one is blue. and can catch fire.

umm i dont remember eragon's first sword being able to catch fire

yes. when eragon decides to he can make the ssword be flaming. without it hurting the sword ofc. the flames can cut through anything :)

never read or seen eragon, doe the sword have some fire element?
