I think I might've found a solution.

If you go to the data folder where your game is located on your hard drive (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data) you'll see that this mod pack file is missing.

Stay subscribed to the mod, but go and download it again: http://store.steampowered.com

Extract the file and rename it to the name of this mod but change the file type extension from '.bin' to '.pack'

Boot up your saved game that kept crashing and it should load up

Dont know why but this mod fucked up my entire game, installing it caused it to be stuck in an endless validating loop. Easily fixed just by unsubscribing tho

@HarzerHarald Mod got busted in the recent update. Just use the suggested mod by myself or Wulfgang.They're basically the same one's as this, but still functional.

I dont see the name of the modded units. Does somebody know how to fix this?

I was using this mod until he updated it, and I decided to seek something else instead. What I found in his workshop is even better than this mod, and includes at least some, if not all, of these units.

It's the "Assossiation Unit Pack" (his typo, not mine).

Trust me when I say you will not be dissapointed! It really needs no introduction and will easily be a staple mod for you. Just please don't go to that thread and start asking for them to nerf the units; some of us really like the challenge!

& I'm betting you have no what you're talking about. TOS exist for free platforms as well, such as Discord, Steam itself, and various other services which are free in nature.
The mod author may be free to shun the whole schpiel as they please, but the people have a right to complain about such things as much as they like too, so it's cancels out. If he doesn't want to hear it, he can take actions to make it so. He doesn't need people like you white-knighting him.
Majority of the people here have already accepted that there probably isn't going to be a fix, so they took matters into their own hands

You're not a hero buddy. You can grasp at straws all you want and attempt to twist this into a "REEE bAnN tEh tROLL"-type situation, but if you are truly offended by what I've said, you can either ignore it, or get a moderator involved for all I care. Get off your pedestal.
This isn't about me, and the more you choose make it personal, the more it's going to drag on.

TOS exist for things you BUY. This is a free mod that the mod author made in their free time for peoples enjoyment. They are under no obligation to keep it up to date, and have every right to straight up remove it if they feel like. You don't deserve anything from Zaskar, so stop harassing them. Just inform them there is a problem, and they can fix it if they feel like it. I'm betting you have no idea the amount of work it takes to do stuff like this. I've spent hundreds of hours editing text documents to make minor changes to games, and this mod is much more complicated than that. And Zaskar is doing it for FREE.

Also another note: Turns out another mod author has already took it upon themselves to update the mod long before the official update out on the 16th. Their version of this mod works fine and is no-longer out of date, so this entire conversation is pointless.

I'm not speaking for myself alone here. I'm speaking for the several people whose discussions have been brushed off or outright ignored by the Mod-author. If pointing out active issues with the mod counts as entitlement now? Then we might as well add bug-reporting to the list of things against the TOS amiright? Grow a spine. You're not taking the moral high-ground here by flinging insults at me, you're making yourself look like a pompous keyboard warrior. We should be on the same team here, not working against eachother.

That soldier wolfy guy is a disgusting, entitled little snot, but there is definitely something wrong with the mod. Most of the units no longer show up, and I noticed the download size is smaller than some of the individual elite unit mods, which I assume it shouldn't be, since it's a collection of those mods. I'm guessing something went wrong with the upload.

Also to note something: Don't try to brush it off as a "Hurr hurr just don't use other mods" That's a load of BS, because until this recent update, I was using it with a PLETHORA of other mods, inlcuding DEI, and I have video evidence to prove that they were working alongside other mods previously.

This is isn't a compatibility issue, this isn't subscriber error, and it isn't an isolated case either, because multiple people have reported that they are no-longer able to recruit units shortly after the update, and they aren't showing up in custom battles anymore. The cold hard truth is that this a blunder on the mod author's part, period. The sooner the mod author rectifies this issue, the less whining he'll have to hear.

Aaand now you're just trying to bait. Thanks for showing everybody here that you're blindly defending the mod author.

How about this instead: can you just tell me whether or not you're planning another update, and if so is it coming soon? I just don't want to start a brand new campaign and then have you update so soon that that also becomes disabled.

Damn, your update yesterday just killed my campaign. It automatically CTD's now when loading in to the campaign. Any way to put back whatever unit you took out, or do you really need it out? I can just start a brand new campaign, but figured I'd ask.
