Weird bug but some UI elements don't change from the TCG versions after disabling the mod. Probably an issue with the game rather than the mod

Thanks for updating the mod,still one of my favorites.I sure wish you would add some more updates in the future,maybe new cars ,tracks,tweaks,fixes,anything really would be appreciated.

Hello, is there a version of the mod without the change of physics and handling, to be able to use these old cars and maps at the same time as the new ones?

If only they kept the original look and feel of the game as well as cars as they updated the game instead of what we have now. Just imagine!

nvm I fixed it. The "surfacelist.srfl" file was missing a resetplayer_delay attribute. I just copied the one from the game files. It would still be nice if you could update the mod because it's a really great one and it would be a shame if it wasn't playable

Would you be able to release a stand along mod for just making windshields textures visible? I'm not sure why they were removed but its something I'd really like back or at least a toggle for it.

Yeah, had the exact same thing happen to me. Would be great to have the old garage as a standalone mod.

Hotfix ver.0.91 for February 2020 Update:

- Fixed missing engine sounds
- Fixed preview camera at Finncross
- AI corrections for reducing the aggressive behavior
- Sunrise weather corrections
- Forest Loop renamed to the Forest Crossroads
- Speed Tarmac renamed to the Long Tarmac

They are broken, hence why i asked for those instead. The guy also has no plans to update it anytime soon.
But ok, gotcha. Im using that mod and i can see its still enjoyable, just sad that i can't test the rides on a more modern environment tho.

@end ? There were a couple of other mods in the workshop that returned only a classic cars. I don’t know if they still work. No, I am not going to release classic cars separately, because I am sure the classic cars should be presented in the classic environment (tracks, props, textures, effects, weather, etc).

Since this is the only way to have the legacy cars, any chance to have only the cars in a separate mod pack?

Man I loved the legacy version, I wish Bugbear would launch a DLC to kind of mix it back in the game, but this mod brought so much joy back, it feels like how the game should have really been like again, thx for the effort for this amazing mod man, keep updating it, awesome work

Damn, this is great modification. It really is every thing from the last "legacy" update(April 2017). Now i dont need 7GB old Wreckfest, just this mod. Thx man, this is really nice work. And you got the 2017 garage as well. Aproved and Recomended (Just some pictures are low res, maybe because i have textures on low, heh.)

@bigtimegamer76 Thanks for your feedback. You are right, the handling is not perfect. Many handling/physics tweaks were done a long time ago, that was better but almost every update slightly changed it. Right before the publishing of the mod I added some impotant fixes but that's all. I will definitely return to the changing the handling model in the future (current handling version is not the final) but for now I am going to concentrate on the completion of the tracks.

Having played this mod, it really feels like bugbear was essentially remaking the original flatout. Overall, you did a great job restoring the game, though having never actually played the older builds, I don't know how accurate it is. My main gripe is the handling as it feels a bit inconsistent. It's like my car is super easy to oversteer, but also has noticeable amount of understeer. It's probably just me but it feels off. Either way, you did a great job with this.

@Quick☢420™ I have already changed some camera settings but for old cars only, e.g.g. increased the height and removed the acceleration inertia and so on. For the original wreckfest cars, I did not intend to change any settings, sorry.

#473 Quick request,there is a mod called external camera mod.Could you incorporate this into the mod pretty please? No worries if you feel it doesn't fit.....now back to THAT CAR GAME....

@TestTestTest yeah I remember that bouncing effect. As for me that was too unpredictable, like if a car already had a broken suspension. It needed a fix but was removed from the code as many other things. I don't know if there is a way to recover this. I didn't even look in that direction.

@fredmichalbear You can use dlc cars but their handling will be very twitchy.

@Jtrixie79 I can only presume maybe that's because the mod is not completely downloaded (its packed size is about 3.1GB) or not installed due to not enough space on HDD (unpacked size is about 4.2GB). Maybe you have too many mods (there is a restriction). Try to unsubscribe 1 or 2 mods and subsrcribe this one or just free more space on your HDD. No more ideas, sorry.

Great mod.Bugbear should up all the game assets to you so you can make a wicked mod version.

very cool mod cars dont actually stick to ground when hit hard old tracks and cars with head and tail lights. brings back the fun that was removed from wreckfest

I've been meaning to find a way to bring back the bouncing when a car lands from a jump. It got removed due to complaints from frustrated online players but I think that it really added something and was far more realistic.
