The_Djon T-800 is fugly. It's almost as bad as the freemodel people were using to port to Source. The one with the flat face. Bleh. I'm with you.

@mayhem true they could've done more detail, thogh im sure they already spent most their budget liscencing terminator. thats why arnold or someone sharing likeness doesn't even appear in game

By same model, I mean it's literally a 1:1 of the terminator style they used in their game. Only difference is the one I linked had a sliver of passion put into it.

And yes, I'm aware it isn't the same model they use lol. But they use a much higher res version of the model to bake the normals, this is likely the closest you can find to what they would have originally done

@mayhem it appears similar in wire frame but the teyon model isnt as detailed to the point of a dedicated cpu socket

Have a pleasent rest of the year, just thought I'd drop my two cents on what i think about this specific terminator model. I was looking forward to making terminator SNPCs after grabbing the game, but the model is just so poorly done. Can't say the same for the rest of the terminator types though, then again they weren't much better animation wise either lol

@mayhem i can tell you most certainly that that isn't the model of the t-800 that teyon uses.
that ones chest is to flat and the head looks disproportionate, and details on the model are physically baked in the mesh, the teyon model their part of the texture

Only difference is this one is set up properly (and costs money), it has pistons set up properly too (which idk why this one doesn't) they slacked my dude

@mayhem Well to be fair this is teyon we are talking about so yeah i get what you're saying.beside my delusions of grandure the mk11 model looks to cluttered

I'm not sure that makes you an expert, but alrighty lol. I've seen my fair share of terminator models, from commissioned ones to ones built from scratch to actual AAA level quality. The animations from the game this comes from aren't even done right, looks super half assed. I would've loved to see more work put into it.

Guess as far as authenticity goes, sure. But Gears 5 has a great t800 too as well as the Rev 9, MK11 had a great t800 just wish this game had some better rigging put to it they didn't even do pistons right lmao

@mayhem honestly well i guess thats your preference then, i for one prefer this mesh becaue it attempts to recreate the endoskeleton from T1/2 the MK 11 Emulates the genisys mould

@mayhem well if you can do a better job porting textures from a bpr using game to the primitive source engine be my guest

It doesnt look any better in the game (i've ported this model too and set up materials for it as well) the animations are bad, model quality is meh, rigging is some doodoo, materials are really the only saving grace. But that's highly in contrast to how UE4 handles it.

Not to be a debbie downer, but the materials are also set up improperly here too.

lol no they didn't, the rigging on this model was horrid, materials were equally as bad. The MK11 T800 is the best by far

@pyrotastic I Would but There are already i a few packs under doom SNPC's and such. problem is i don't have the correct version of tools to rip textures out from the game
