@Orentil alright, finally patched together a fix - somehow messed up the species_classes. Works on my end now - thanks for letting me know and please, do tell if you find any further issues!

Hello there!

I found a bug while playing Sentients. It was confirmed then by testing on Proxies too and while trying your Prescritped Countries. So, about the problem... Being a machines they, nonetheless, are in need of Gene Tailoring technology instead of Template System, and therefore cannot access population modification if only not being a Driven Assimilator or Rogue Servitor (as those are the only Machine Empires that can get the needed tech).

Is there something that can be done with that?
