If you mean does the rocket work, not exactly, it will test the rockets and is a trap that traitors can use.

v2 rocket launch facility? naah its a great map but if it was a v2 facility the space was GIGANTIC!!! 9 stories high just to move the damn rocket! but nice work on it! :)

Oh, ok. And there is a rocket; the scientist guy (Not kliener) built one to be launched into the combine portal to kill the combine. At least, thats as much as I remember >.<

i have a question, will this map work if i have no games? i only have Gmod and i dont want to bother getting maps if all i'll see is missing textures and errors.

I just found out that CSS was updated and I don't have it installed ATM. That may have been the issue. I'll let you know.

I use HL2 Hammer Version with CSS content as well then use a batch compiler for better memory usage so I can use my laptop while it compiles.

It all depends what you are making and what you want to use.

@Ramirex The rocket is huge and enterable. Not for pretty showoff rocketship take offs. A lot of work would have to be done in order to make it "Take off" and that is not the purpose of the map.

@Delta7x The fan you are spose to be in the vent then activate it but I'll extend the grab on that seeing no one knows how to use it.

Yeah some how I managed to delete the hurt trigger under the rocket and get away with it so I am fixing that now.

And the framerate issues I'm currently not sure what I can do I never got to test with more then 3 people, I just need to find someone hosting it and join and play and find where the main issues are.

When the fan was activated the most that happened was the fan grate breaking, not sure if you have to be directly against it or not but I was 10 or so steps away when the trap was set off.

As for the rocket test fire the trap worked and was initiated, but it did no damage to those under the rocket standing right in the middle of the fire. One of the T's improvised and threw an incendiary in while everyone played in the little light show.

Other than that and slight framerate issues when 10+ people are on it's a nice map nevertheless

@Ramirex it wasn't possible to make it fly away as you are able to go inside the ship. An making all they props_dynamic would cause the server to lag when moving that many props.

@Delta7x Which traps don't work? The rocket test fire worked when it was being tested and the fan does suck up people but as for it's turn speed I could never get the input to work.

Decent map, the only issues with it is that the map tends to lag a bit when there's more than 10 people on it. Not to mention two T traps don't actually work as expected =/... The launch doesn't burn anyone and the fan doesn't seem to suck up anyone or increase speed.

what? it's possible and many mappers made something like this. examples: Black Mesa: Source rocket takeoff. Hl2 ep2 or Ep1 rocket launch. it's not even really hard. make timer, trigger button or whatever. add smoke and sounds and make model / brush to move up and then hide it somewhere.

No the rocket can't take off, It was thought about in the making though it was not possible the way it was made due to Source Engine.
