Don't you need a blueprint to upgrade to 2A to 2D anyways? Are you sure this mod is responsible?

Just FYI, if you install this on latest release it removes ability to upgrade from Type 2A to 2D (U4 start), at least in the first few months of the war, whether this mod changes availability of the type (it wasn't available until 1940 IRL) I don't know but this doesn't seem to be the purpose of this mod so I can only assume it breaks the upgrade.

So I did try it out and it appears to work great. Without its supporting friends though, the particular wonderfulness of it does fall short in terms of named ships will appear in spots where perhaps you wouldnt expect them to be, but it still does its job and I mean after all, this is altered history anyway. It's way better than the alternative. Every freighter ive sunk tonight has been researchable by name to learn of its real life fate and each one has also been assigned to the proper class ship.

now that the additional assets mods work again, i'm going to try this, just for the hell of it and hope that maybe it works in some sort of serviceable way. regardless, i'll post back here since im sure others are wondering

That was a old name deconfliction technique I used. I found the record and fixed it. Will see about finding others. And will post an update at some point in the future

I cant push a manifest update due to the fact my local dataset has untested patches, and I am more likely to break your game if push with the updated manifest.

I may do a work around to update the workshop manifest without updating the mod.

Update Released: Sync of data with UBE in prep for release of B129. This mod will remain on the current verison until a stable build of UBE on B129 can be created.

None of the errors for missions are properly handled, thus you would have to go through each mission and cross reference the static entities and static groups. The game won't tell you the issue necessarily. The list of possible reasons is long. Could be because the mod reestablishes a stock port with new parameters and base game mission breaks , it could be a modded mission, it could be a task, or even a mission group assignment issue. We have a few tickets open to have error handling expanded in this are of the game hopefully the devs can assist soon.

A bit off topic, but i did more digging into the error and the mod, and the Belfast null reference doesnt make any sense. It's in the vanilla Sandbox xlsx, so no idea why its giving a null reference exception.

I know Wangtze's pain, missions are currently not well supported for modding. Adding them in modders are basically flying blind and have to hope that no errors occur.

@HalfdeadKiller, this is a common issue with sandbox.xlsx but this mod does not change anything with the missions this is likely a bad mission parameter or typo in living uboat mission

There seems to be issues with this mod and Living Uboat_128. For some reason it gives a NullReferenceException when looking at the mission select screen.

This mod should still work for B128+ however a patch is in the works to include new ship classes as needed. Core functionality should not change

No, this mod contains the names of all ships that were in active service or sunk (during naval battles and U-boats) during WWII. This mod does not impact Uboats. only increases the name list of ships to approximately 18,000 vessel names.

You may utilize both mods together. They will not conflict.

I was poking around in the files and I noticed that many of the new ship names don't appear until roughly 1999 if I remember correctly. I went ahead and changed it on my side and it works fine now. Took me roughly 30 seconds to fix, if you'd like to update the mod and need help, let me know.

If your game launcher, stopped working (crashing) recently that was my bad :( I forgot to put quotes on the author name of my mod, and the launcher was failing to start.
