@Watch go to display settings, find ui, disable show the survival guide on startup.

Seems it does't work with controller (steam deck). It's like the message is still there but hidden. I still have to press Ok to get rid of it before I can focus the Main Menu.

Works great with mouse input though. Thanks for the mod.

working, u have to enable it on the main menu "mods" tab first, then u can restart if u want to test it

@corwyncalc, the mod removes welcome window in MAIN MENU.
If you want to remove welcome window in game session, there is a check box "don't show this again" at the bottom of that window.

This does not seem to do anything, I still get that stupid screen every game, weither Im reloading or making a new game.
