Yuki Mori 29. feb. 2020 kl. 9:15
Is the map suppost to make a buzzing sound like your laptop's broken? Because my laptop has never been damaged. Please answer that if its suppost to make that sound, because it is scaring me

Wantonworld 23. dec. 2019 kl. 16:37
Ummm, Neo_Wesker. Read the description, even though you made the map.

Hmmm, if you can't open the workshop edition then maybe try to download the gamebanana map edition: https://gamebanana.com/maps/207144

Well, it didn't matter anyway, for some reason certain maps fail to load for me, so I can't play this map, I am still trying to find out the true issue behind this.
NWeskey  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2019 kl. 23:36
That sounds about right, the small city in the background is ripped from City 17 (which was set in Beograd, Serbia). The mountains also give it the look like they're set around the Ural mountain range.

looks like a Soviet era dacha
NWeskey  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2019 kl. 12:18
Yeah, the next update is going to be focused mainly on optimization.
Skate6788 1. dec. 2019 kl. 12:18
Everything is rendered at once. Only sealing the house with areaportals would help.
NWeskey  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2019 kl. 12:12
Tried putting them in, they ended up corrupting my map file, although I am working on optimizing the map way more.
Skate6788 1. dec. 2019 kl. 12:10
Areaportal, where are they? xd
NWeskey  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2019 kl. 8:41
I don't really think so, mainly 'cause of the layout and size. A normal HL2 map was usually way bigger than my map, and the layout is of many hostage rescue maps for CS:S. The road being where the CTs started, and the house and backyard where the Ts started.
Sp00ky Paisan0 1. dec. 2019 kl. 8:17
Do you think this map is perfect for a Half-Life scenario?
NWeskey  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2019 kl. 2:13
Oh, nvm then.
Raccourier 1. dec. 2019 kl. 2:02
@Neo_Wesker no i was referencing a video
NWeskey  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2019 kl. 1:43
Hmmm, I mean I could add some crows to the level if that's what you meant.
Raccourier 1. dec. 2019 kl. 1:42

I am happy to hear you getting ideas from AtlanteadLemuris' interpretation of the map, Day and night cycles are not possible in the Source Engine. I was kinda thinking of making a night version of the map, maybe like a hallowen version.

Although maps aren't able to have day and night cycles, I would strongly recommend you dowload this addon for the best experience: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=185609021&searchtext=Atmos
Tmccanna 30. nov. 2019 kl. 12:15
thats really creepy. if only it was like some kind of atmospheric map with a day/cycle and at day not many haunting happen but at night crap gets real like you get thrown against furniture and stuff like that. would be a cool concept map

Also, thanks!!!
Atlantic_Lemur 29. nov. 2019 kl. 17:27
You can thank a little inspiration from at least three murder cases: 1974 DeFeo Amityville murders, 1922 Hinterkaifeck murders, and 1912 Villisca Axe Murders.

Nice text man! I like your text and I've decided to put the text in my description crediting you.
Atlantic_Lemur 29. nov. 2019 kl. 12:07
I can only imagine.
3:00 a.m., May 19th, 1978: The rich and highly influential Wallis family were murdered in their quaint home by an assailant unknown. For 31 years, the property has remained uninhabited. You are a 20-something year-old who has purchased the house for an amazing deal of $350. As you decide to do a DIY renovation of the place, you can't help but wonder that you are not alone. Objects move on their own accord, your phone and laptop suffer unexplained glitches, you might have seen slim, ghostly figures out of the corner of your eyes, and experience strange and nightmarish hallucinations both in waking and sleeping, even when outside of that somber establishment. Who or what could be haunting the Wallis household? As you investigate deeper within the house's walls, your mind begins to unravel, and then, you find yourself questioning reality. Can you survive a whole week, hiding from the horrors that lurk in... The Berefted Lair??
