i assume with "castes" you ment to say catse, i have got permission from catse to use a modified version of his VR pistole. to be honest i havent played gmod in ages nor work on my mods

Is this broken right now? How do you pull back the hammer? I can release and put clip in but not pull back hammer. Do you need the knuckles to use this?

A system like Pavlov's ammo system was actually supposed to be included, but it didnt quite work out in testing, so a more simple system was chosen.
However, as far as I know Catse's original VR pistol swep has Pavlov-like ammo spawning now.

I would imagine you would have to make an entire new line of code for the shotgun.
Also if its possible, you should make it so theres a pocket that you can grab into for ammo, just spawns ammo in your hand if you grab there, like Pavlov.

You can use the lightsabers mod for that by spawning the entities and picking them up with your hand, it works perfectly
Only thing you'll have to watch out for is cutting yourself, I recommend using godmode

Don't want to nit-pick, but the charging handle shouldn't move when you fire the gun. It's nice to see more VR weapons being added to Gmod though.

The current smg model is mostly a placeholder and a new, authentic model should be in the works, but working with source models is an absolute pain so it might take a bit.

I see what you're saying about the material being much lighter than the original SMG weapon. Nothing a little re-texturing couldn't fix. I'm excited just to have something like this though honestly, wrong materials or not.
