'Here' as in the South Western region of the USA? In 2019? No. I wouldn't imagine you do. But I doubt a member of any of the North Eastern Wampanoag tribes would appreciate you speaking for them, or their 1600's era ancestors.

More common than you might think for African Americans to have native blood. Way back when, where the law may have forbidden intermarriage between white and native, it didn't really care about who black folks married, so long as they weren't marrying white folk. And though those laws may have long been overturned, culturally they've had long lasting echoes.
