Absolutely beautiful!

Only thing I can't manage to do is, make a path that goes over/uses the bridge? Or is the bridge just for decoration?

That is indeed correct. You will have to lower the entire blueprint when you place it and add the water yourself. I believe only habitats allow the transfer of terrain, and this is not a habitat.
