I put this mod at the top of the load order and have researched level 2 computers, but I can't select either the sensors or the computer in the design menu. Am I missing something?

@不夜候 啊这，我测试的时候没有这个问题。应该是你其他mod冲突了，比如改了武器类型的mod

@maobe Great! I bet it has to be the section_template file you are having trouble with, you can also rearrange your mods to give them different load priorities.

i got it to work! i used irony mod manager to resolve conflicts and merge the mods. i can now access all colossus sections! i dont know which exactly caused the conflict, but everyone who is into heavy modded games should get used to tools like irony mod manager.

even after resubscribing the mod...

that i tried. theres just no new section available. its only the classical vanilla there. just made a NEW game, hacked all techs and needed assencions, but its still not available.

@maobe What went wrong? In theory, you can just make a new design of colossi and upgrade your current one to your new design in the fleet manager screen.

is it possible this mod works only with a NEW game? even with "research all tech" console command my current game cant get the mod to work...

@RuralTowner I am sure the colossi can withstand the fire of one single gray fleet, just add some escort ships to it and it will be ok.

Got the Citadel w/ the necessary yard. I can make the stock colossus w/o the mod enabled. So it's just missing tech then making it NOT work. I'm pretty sure I'm pretty low down on the COMBAT ROLES chain of tech. So I know where to focus then.

In the game I'll be using this in (16 AI, COMMODORE, no advance start) my economy is just barely beginning to gain traction while the GRAY TEMPEST is breathing down my back...I'll need the Colossi to help in the coming wars since I can't rely on fleet strength alone.

Wondered what was up since I don't get a ! icon that would otherwise denote a problem.

@RuralTowner Hi, this problem isn't related to mod compatibility issue, nor the mod itself. In the vanilla game, colossi construction uses tier 5 or tier 6 reactor and requires a top tier citadel with colossi yard. In my mod, since I have added the combat computer set, you also need to have the advanced combat computer tech (the yellow one) to enable the mid or long range combat computer. If you do not have it, then the auto-generated design can not save.

UPDATE: Tried it again by disabling mod so the OEM version becomes available. Built it. Saved. Restarted game with mod enabled. Still nothing. When mousing over to save design it says "SHIPDESIGNER_SAVEFAIL_WRONG_REQUIRED_COMPONENTS".

Also the STOCK colossus that is present is rendered as a cube with 4 extra squares w/ XYZ labeled sides with either + or - with the letter

Aside from Real Space the only other mod I use is MORE SHIP SECTIONS which gives you more design options on ships. It didn't conflict before.

Am in a new game and just got the Colossus researched. Can't build. Doesn't even show up in the construction list. All I can do is go to DESIGN NEW SHIP and set one up...but can't even save it.

@Durasteel Sadly, H slot and space crafts are never a decent choice. Not good for early game and useless in late game :(
