@Avanya Thanks, that makes sense!

@Ignasi: This one and all the other "Decorated" versions are in addition to the basic ones. They are essentially copies with different decorations. You'd need to create a District Style to only have them spawn, otherwise they are mixed in with all other growables when no Style is set.

As the game doesn't properly recognize packages, I recommend using the District Style Plus mod to get all the variations and levels.

I am sorry to ask such a noob question but...having purchased the DLC this mod overwrites the existing ones, or adds more buildings and combine original with modded?

In order to make it work, do I need to create new District Style myself or they are automatically used as part of the European Suburbia style.

Thanks,

@Farwin923: No plans for more versions, there's the base game one and these ones. But you can always make your own variations by opening the asset editor, select new building, and then find the originals. Check the option to load existing props if you just want to change a few or start fresh with no props.

Hi, this whole rework of European suburbia is nice but I was wondering if you are planing on redoing it and using vanilla version of trees because they are same.

Thank you for your answer! I`ll try the distric styles plus mod then. Much appreciated!

@MΛKO: Building Themes is broken which might be why you have issues with it. I don't really use the styles anymore myself, but the District Styles Plus mod should work with old Building Themes or at least allow you to create a style with all the buildings in.

The whole theme is super beautiful!
Unfortunatrely, if I subscribe to all assets, the building theme mod says that theres no Level1 houses so they dont spawn in the zoning areas. A workaround I used is that I gave it the vanilla euopean style as well so the buildings are spawning. But this results in a mix of decorated and undecorated buildings later (of course).
Am I doing something wrong? I thought I finally understand how I can make my districts more beautiful with themes... :-D
Thanks you for the help!

Ah yeah, unfortunately they don't work properly with Styles, because each workshop item contains 4 buildings. I had planned to make a Style with them, but I didn't discover the issue until I had uploaded them all, at which point it was too late to make any changes. So I went with a Building Theme instead, as that isn't as fussy as Styles. :)

I added them to another building style, but I fixed it via downloading the building theme mod and just having multiple styles for any one district

@Lyylikki: Are you using any building themes or styles on your city?
Lyylikki 13 iul. 2020 la 13:11
For some reason these are not spawning in my city
Avanya  [autor] 5 mai 2020 la 7:19
That is correct. Just make sure you get the props and trees used, as the will otherwise look pretty empty. :)

From what I understand is I can subscribe some of these European Suburbia houses (I'm already have DLC) but no need to subscribe all in this collection ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/?id=1901228838 ). Am I correct?
Avanya  [autor] 12 apr. 2020 la 14:15
@axelanius: No. The houses are from the DLC, so making versions that don't need the DLC is a good way to get banned from the workshop. If you like the houses, the DLC is on sale regularly. :)
axelanius 12 apr. 2020 la 6:28
is there a version that doesn't require the DLC?

Thats some nice stuff...
I was always somewhat unhappy with many of the lowrez basegame trees, especially the bigger ones. Looks way better now:steamhappy:
