Its definitely a lot lower than Smash Sonic but Smash Sonic also doesn't have a Wall jump. ricE characters tend to be legal in most Workshop brackets which are in general weaker than base cast. The patch was most likely putting him in line with that.
And lastly the lightspeed dash is great and all but can we please at least have the option for the somersault? It was a great tool for comboing but bad at recovery while the lightspeed dash is the exact opposite, meaning that the player can trade survivability with damage depending on the playstyle.
And before anyone says anything yes this is long I know, I just really like the character.
The majority of Sonic's attacks have too long of a vulnerability window as well as end lag. for example Sonic's bounce now is really hard to time because of how long it takes before you're able to start the other one, and a huge chunk of time before he actually starts moving downward he can still be hit as well.
that's still a lot of endlag tho, are we sure it needs to be that long
it bumps on the stage wall and puts you into an eon of endlag after using it, can't combo, spring is better for recovery, what is the point of it i'm so confused
also why no more wall run :(
