This mod seems to be crashing my computer, I am on a new install on a new fresh map with nothing on it and whenever I click the Gear settings icon my game hard crashes.

when i opend whinter theme in the map it looked good at first but then as soon as i test map the water had no texture and the second time the grass was green but the ore was snow texture how do i fix this its still snow texture now

How come the theme mixer symbol Isn't showing up in game. I just spent like all week planning a theme and map, to not even be able to make the map cause I can't get the theme right. Does anyone know what the issue is?. It also says in my Content manager that the mod was updated 12 hours ago, while on the workshop it says a few years ago.

Is there any way to delete custom themes made? I have almost 10 custom themes I don't use anymore and would like to have disappear

This mod still works well despite the “scary warning” in Skyvie.

The mod goes off when its overloaded on your RAM. Only way it works, you have to cloes everything

I had trouble with the mod working in game but after deleting about 150 Mods and Assets the mod is fixed.

@scottkvdl if u use skyve you need to activate it in skyve so it shows ingame

I just reactivated theme mixer for the first time for 2 months but then when I started making a map, the mod button wasn't there. I checked out Reddit and the steam workshop discussions and this has happened to many people. Does anyone know what this could be?

This works flawlessly for me. I was using theme mixer 2.5 but it stopped working for some reason, I was gettin null object reference error and the UI wouldn't open. I tried this one instead and it works just fine so if you have a similar problem give this one a shot. this is an essential mod for me so I'm hoping we always have a working version<3

If I ever knew taking over such a mod would cause such distress I would have never touched this.

You can trust 2.5, the mod has been directly reviewed and improved by algernon, he also developed and maintains mostly 40+ mods and is well trusted on the community. Anyway, comments were disabled as explained in that mod’s description. Especially because this is getting to me. Full feedback is appreciated on my discord server but something that makes sense (not repeated speculation like this one).I will not comment more on this topic.If you want to know MORE about the different adaptations of THEME MIXER 2.5. The beta release (recently) was actually an initial testing of Theme Mixer 3 thus why the many change logs without a description. If you must know, the beta release was the first Theme Mixer 2.5 mod page, then the stable release came around. The very initial release had no changes very few changes, then the UI icons change came around, plus fixing compilation errors and some more errors algernon got rid of and optimized.TPB himself found these issues. I have full screenshots of my conversation with TPB where I explain the situation.

The beta version has been updated twice since May. Only you can tell how many updates the stable version has had. And yet there are no commits in the repository during this period, from May to September. I want to know what has changed and what has broken.

Yet another victim of false news. Attention is not something I will give to users who do not listen anymore. I've consistently maintained transparency, and anyone who thoroughly examines all the GitHub releases should understand precisely what occurred with each commit. This is the entire reason why mods are open source.

If this trend continues, sadly, it will result in all of you pushing me away effectively ruining future projects, future ideas and even more, reflecting the ungrateful nature of this community that doesn't even appreciate an unpaid modder.

The "theme mixer 2.5" repository hasn't been updated since May, despite the fact that updates are published. God only knows what's inside. Nevertheless, the commits that are publicly visible show that the amount of work is ridiculous. Differences from the original "theme mixer 2" - no more than cosmetic. And it works without problems, unlike the "update".

TM2.5 is not neccecary nor an "upgrade" over TM2 and in my experience it actually causes MORE BUGS. TM2.5 primarily updates the UI button artwork and doesnt improve mod functionality. TM2.5 has been reported by many users to cause crashes. I recommend using TM2.5 only after concluding that TM2 won't work on your system. The fact that this mod hasnt been updated for a long time is not a sign that it is broken. Its a sign that it is STABLE where as TM2.5 has been updated or changed almost every week without any clear improvements to its functionality and sometimes even introducing new bugs. The recent reuppload of TM2.5 is extremely suspicious to me. It looks and feels like a way that the uploader is trying to take credit for TPB's original work without even so much as offering a proper acknowledgement.

TLDR: THIS MOD STILL WORKS. AVOID TM2.5 IF YOU CAN.

TM2.5 is not neccecary on the other hand and imho it causes more bugs. Since switching from TM2.5 to TM2 (this version) TODAY i have less bugs with interfering mods. Specifically, ToggleIt now renders properly in front of the UI where as with TM2.5 the ToggleIt buttons were shown behind my main UI bar. This switch is also the only mod change i have done, effectivly isolating the isse for me.

It's nice but I tried moving the button and the button disappeared. I cannot find a way to reset the button to bring up the menu and now I have no access to it. Can you please add a menu option so I can reset the button placement and hide the button when I am done setting it up?

This kind of mod will be needed for CS2, as the textures in the new game look very basic.

Interesting. After the update i managed to load my game once. The game ran althought Theme Mixer crashed. Like I was able to play but I got a theme mixer error and I couldnt use it, no icon. Another day, the next time I wanted to load my save the game crashed. I Reinstalled whole cities skylines, resubbbed mods etc. Everything works but theme mixer. Game crashes everytime i want to load any save. No matter if its new or the existing one.
