Honestly, this is really clever, at first it looks weird, but this makes sense once you look apon the logic

I think people were expecting this to work like a Graphite Press machine, but needing two materials already makes that wrong.

For those of you who doubt that it works but can't be bothered to test it for yourselves, here is the logic:

1. Sand from the bottom input crosses the bridge and then goes left/right/up.
2. Sand that enters the sand sorter goes up.
3. Sand that enters the coal sorter goes left/right.

Thus all four factories get sand. The reverse is true for coal.

Produced silicon is available from any side of the factory. It's pretty ingenious, actually.

So basically its not finished and you have to add stuff.

Does work (I was confused at first as well). Sand goes into the bottom block and coal goes into the top one. Then you can divert the produced silicon however you want from the factory.
