This causes them to be lumped together into the same folder within the mod directory, and thus same in-game mod entry, thereby creating an unknown risk of serious errors. Could you change the name to be more distinctive?

This screenshoots are just lies. The map looks different, and here are no resources.

I moved the map file to from /mods to /maps, but it does not work. I keep spawning in the damn desert.

In the screenshots I think you see near Medina

Your map must be poor, if you need to spam on another mod.
Anyways I give this mod a try.

Think this would be great but always start in the desert so a fix would be nice, I have installed it to the maps forlder but am still having the problem

Agree with the previous post...no luxury resources makes this unplayable. Also, I installed via the above method and I always spawn in the southeast. Good try :)

very well made but it´s kinda hard without luxury resources, and the AIs seem to spawn in gondor everytime which gets kinda crowded, don´t know if it´s just my problem ;)

This needs work! I always start in "Mordor" which is not fun being that it's a desert and thre are NO RESOURCES in the game which by the way makes all the civs locate in a few areas of the map. OR do I need to do something to enable the resources? Would also help if I didn't start in the same location every time too!

Putting the map in the correct folder worked fine like recommended! Everytime game I try loading starts in the same desert strip, like others are mentioning. This isn't a big deal, its still a fine starting spot, and I am enjoying exploring the map.
The only real problem I have found so far is that there doesn't seem to be any resources anywhere on the map which is kindof a bummer... Maybe I am doing something wrong or am missng something really obvious. lol!

This showed up as a mod for Rome II in my liberary, had the Shogun 2 menu as the cover, and is for Civ V... WHAT?

You should put city states in know places e.g. mins tirith, Rohan etc

I think having the nations be lotr related would be a very nice addition to this map.

Unfortunately, putting the map into the correct folder (as per the instructions you linked) did not fix my problem of always starting in the same location. I also tried creating a hotseat MP game, and the first hotseat player also starts in this same location every time. The second hotseat player always starts in South Gondor at the mouth of the Anduin. I have other maps that I've downloaded via Steam that work correctly.
