@Nixel, it's completely ok to use any and all parts of this skin as you please, I don't really own any property on these models and textures. I would like it though, if you gave me link to your mod so I can put in my description, and you put a link to this mod in yours :)

Is it OK if I use a modified version of the palette used in this as one of the palettes in my own skin?

By 'modified', I mean listing each color seven times instead of 3, and adding a {r=191, g=191, b=191}, layer in between.

I would love it. However... At least on mono after the corkscrews it screws up and blocks start looking like they are in the wrong line.

It runs smoother than the default skins but on the corkscrews the blocks are below the track and I can't hit them.

If you didn't know, there is "as-portal" mode in Audiosurf 1. "as" in "as-portal" stands for " A udio S urf", nothing said about any posterior. You can try googling about non-standart game modes of Audiosurf 1. There was an ARG before release of "Portal 2", and a lot (like really a lot ) of games got portal-themed content. And AS1 is one of them. We just coded something that looks like that content.
Next: I assume you had misspelled Gabe Newell's name. It's ok, I don't really care, as long as I'm not Gabe Newell.
And last: I don't know who or what is Silvermania.
Anyway... You had written complete non-sence. I don't see any point of keeping this comment here and struggling the urge to delete it. Just saying.

No, this actually a good ideas. about black spheres (non-cubes) it's ok for my stand alone skin. For the skin which is embedded into as-portal mode by my collegue it's not ok at all, because that's where I put them and they worked for me. Try asking him or add any of us on steam and we will see into that.

Sounds, actually, are editable too, so when I'll be doing AS-Portal2, I'll figure something out. Actually, many things changed to audiosurf from time I made this skin, so more features are available.

Now I'll have bad sleeping, I certainly will think a lot about that...:rfacepalm:

This is great (and BTW the color problems are probably just due to the nature of the song; something I wouldn't fret over), although for some odd reason, the CCs are showing up and acting as black balls, even in [as-portal] mode. Am I missing something?

Further food for thought (maybe for another skin?): as-portal2. Instead of skyscrapers with a whiteish background, try test chambers (behind-the-scenes style) with a grayish background. For tunnels, portals can work, as can various Aperture logos or even those diversity vents we see sometimes.

...now if only we could change sounds in the mods (not your problem)...

Thanks for the info! :) after checking this i've now found out that Dylan has patched it; and after a quick test I can now confirm every thing is normal now. Guess I was talking to the wrong guy :P

Okay, guys, that's the "neon water" trouble, not actually my skin bug, it presents on all new-fancy-water skins. If you look here [www.audio-surf.com], you'll see Dylan's working on it. Will wait for more info. =)

Thanks for your comment. It's very strange, but the possible reason is one of most recent updates of Audiosurf 2. Because couple updates were released since last time I actually launched AS2. Will test everything today.

This is really good! but alas there is this problem. ( http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=186498604 It starts early in the song whereby the 'sea' just branches off track and then it vanishes leaving what you see here. I've tried this skin on multiple songs with all 3 wakeboard modes and they all show this error. It's a little blemish on an otherwise FANTASTIC skin though. Looking forward to what you make next! :D
