Suggestion to make this less of a cheat..... add some kind of glasshouse with a special soil you can lay out.. or multiple biome faking soils so we need so plan what soil gets into this glasshouse.. this can be thought even further (temp for crops to mimic biome etc)

Oskar made a vanilla-styled fishing mod and its.. all I could ever want. So no. I'll add some compatibility with it in the future though.

I cannot plant anything except drago tree and cactus. I learned all the tree lines in research and i still can't see any trees to sow. Is it a bug or what?

Is tea one of the plants that cant be grown everywhere? My tempereate forest tribals group, cant grow it, depesit it being researched.

@Megabot Hydroponics plants aren't restricted by biome - only soil ones are. This mod removes the soil biome restrictions.

However, not all plants can be grown hydroponically.

Welp, gotta add this. Went to ask what megabot asked after starting a very cold map, trying to add crazy plants to hydroponics, didn't have to look far. A note should be added to both Rimcuisine and linked to this patch, unless I overlooked it.

yeah, they are. I play on a boreal forest biome and i can't plant agave, even on hydroponic farms, to name one such example.

Yeah that requires C# coding which I'm lacking in. I do want to do it eventually though as an optional patch.

Any chance to add an option for more strict growing temperatures together with this mod? I like being able to grow chili peppers in the tundra.. but only in a climate controlled greenhouse. Right now most plants seem to have a min growth temperature of 0 degree C, maybe for tropical plants this could be 10-15 C?

Honestly i have no clue how to mod RimWorld to do this without screwing something terribly. Also afaik biome limit/hydroponics limit is problem for more plants, which lines should i change for this?

@No Guts No Glory that one is an easy fix. Just find the code for TreeBase and comment out the "MustbeWildtoSow" tag. Although since its the Core file, I'd high recommend patching it out instead.

I wonder, is there any chance for mod that would do the same for all plants but without requiring Cuisine core? Tynan apparently really hates people who grow trees in a desert or something ....
