I've been mostly playing vanilla with some addons thus far. So finding a mod that adds some complexity without trying to reinvest the wheel was just the ticket to broaden my horizons. Will give this a try for my next campaign.
Just one thing: With me playing basically slightly modded vanilla, I don't much mind being able to use only music mods. Just one more mod I'd like to be able to use:

And since it doesn't change any mechanics I was wondering if perhaps it might actually work with Amazonia. Could you confirm or deny that? If it doesn't would you consider implementing a "skip intro" function yourself?

As far as I know, there's no way to fix it. Here's why it happened.

So each subculture in the game has a set of voices for their characters. By creating a new subculture, which was essential for this mod, the voices weren't defined anywhere hence no voices on the campaign map. I tried to look everywhere for a way to assign voices to a new subculture, but to no avail.

If anyone has a fix, let me know!

I'm not sure if anyone has had this issue, or was not an intended feature, but the female generals don't speak. Is this a bug, or were the voices not included?

This mod is nice in most cases, but every campaign I have started i am instantly hit with plague and a new one pops up every turn or two. I have this mod and only this one downloaded. Anyone have this same problem

Thank you for your continued support, feedback, and kind words. I can confirm that siege attrition will be making a return, alongside a few more mechanics that will be present on the campaign map. The stat box will also receive a few more additions such as the armor piercing damage, unit speed, shield defense being displayed separately from armor and melee defense, and a few others I may have forgot to mention.

The next update which I hope I can release by the coming weekend, will bring many new aspects to the campaign map portion of the game, as well as adding new Etruscan and Sardinian factions!

I will reveal more as we get closer to the release!

Thanks for your reassuring response to my queries. That’s fair enough regarding the slum removal, if it’s straight choice between game-play enjoyment and historical accuracy then I would also always choose the former. And anyone who has qualms about that choice can deploy the conceit that I suggested, at least when playing as the more civilised factions.
And as regards the siege mechanic I really should have had more faith considering your track record. Not only in making corrections at your own behest as I mentioned below but also in response to player feedback, when for example, you gave the Amazonian factions Greek architecture at the commencement of the campaign.
Other aspects your recent upgrades that particularly appeal to me are having generals act as governors, displaying the ammo amount, giving the Triarii the ‘shield wall’ ability and above all the historically accurate battle mechanic overhaul.

but isn't a client state just a defensive ally that pays tribute? so why does that limit the freedom of the player for instance imperator augustus's egypt campaign isn't that limiting so why not a client state?

@The Mighty Demon King Your suggestion makes absolutely perfect sense story-wise which why that was the way that it actually was originally but unfortunately it proved to be severely restrictive game-play wise. Please read @Genesi[s] post of 15 Sept 2019 as to why he changed it.

Genesi[s] so when Nova Amazonia's story line is that it is supposed to be a subject of Amazonia why don't you make Nova Amazonia a client state or satrapy instead of a military alliance

Hey! Thank you very much for your review! Okay so to address some of your concerns:

1) I removed slums because they're just annoying to deal with. It has been removed from all factions.

2) I'm going to add back the attrition when laying siege. It actually makes sense to add it back.

I'm really glad you like my work! Just a hint that the next update is full of new content!

Adding some new cultures to the campaign. That's all I'm gonna say for now ;)

The unit abilities additions are great and add more differentiation and depth to the rosters. The same applies to the boost to the rhomphaias and falxes and makes perfect sense as they were such fearsome weapons.
And finally, The Hellenic League not only sounds nicer but also appropriate for an Amazonian mod!

Wow, thanks Genesi[s]. I didn’t expect the patch to be so wide-ranging and to arrive so quickly, especially after the two recent updates. My initial thoughts on just reading your exhaustive (and no doubt exhausting for you to implement) lists of changes are nearly all positive, with just a few neutral until I get the pleasure of experiencing them in the heat of battle! I do however have a couple of queries. Firstly, it seems strange to complain about a lack of slums but did you remove them for aesthetic reasons or because you felt that the Amazonian civilisation was too advanced or efficient to fall prey to them. The second one is I’m afraid more perplexing and perturbing to me. I should be grateful for your reasoning behind the removing of the besieging attrition mechanic.

Not sure bro, haven’t thought that far yet hahaha.

Also! Patch 2 is expected to go live within a week. The two major additions are the Etruscan League becoming playable in the Grand Campaign with their own custom roster and culture, and a cosmetic change which turns all early Amazonian units into more hellenzied versions once the required tech is researched.

Are you using any other mods? That's probably why. Just make sure the mod is at the top of the mod loader and any mod that edits the Startpos won't work.

The update is gonna make them less overpowered. The idea was to make them feel like an unstoppable force like the Huns in Attila, but I went overboard with it a bit. This coming update will bring them down quite a bit.

Thank you so much! Glad I have some great super fans hahaha! I’m sure everyone will love this update as it adds, changes, and improves a lot and would definitely have some people coming back for a replay as the Amazons, as their entire roster has had a stat and price overhaul to feel less like gods and more like a real army XD

Other notable changes are new, much slower paced battles with an emphasis on flanking and routing with low casualties and long melee fights, inspired by DEI. Overhaul of the way character traits and bonuses impact settlements and public order, new units added to factions which lacked depth such as the Odrysian Kingdom and the Ardiaie, and minor stat changes to some vanilla units. New units have been added to the Romano-Amazonian Republic in the HatG campaign, and honestly a lot more I won’t reveal until release!
