why are these 3 models and not one thing? Locking these together is a pain because one thing works then another doesn't

can you ad the kawasaki ninja 600 to the model pack?

I think it would be better to make one model that can be disassembled, than there are not so many models that need to be put together.

Does a biker helmet not exist for SFM?

1/2 of the motorcycle can't be seen =/

The other thing you'll want to do is lock the front wheel to the fork bone. (Expand the unknown bones of the fork and drag the fork bone onto the wft bone) this will allow you to turn the front tire with the forks.

You spawn all three items (cycle\frames, cycle\forks and cycle\engine.) Once all three items are in SFM, select them all then slide the default slider, the bike will piece together. Once they are together, lock the forks and the engine to the frame. (drag the frame onto the other 2 to lock them up.) Now when you move the frame, the other 2 will follow.

I don't trust whoever thinks these are for different games in animating, such idiots. :\
Pte Jack  [skapare] 30 nov, 2013 @ 13:47
It's not for game, it is a SFM model

WHAT GAME IS IT FOR

Very nice Jack! Pay no attention to Trevor Phillips, high poly and multiple parts is better!
Kibōchen 23 nov, 2013 @ 10:23
WHY DID YOU MAKE IT HIGH POLY? Idiot...
Ultimo 15 nov, 2013 @ 7:14
Awesome! Just what I need

I could use these in gmod (Ragdolled wheels or Joint tooled Wheels)

Yeah at first i thought the 3 different parts would be a problem, but i locked them together just as you instructed and it's fine. Heck, the fact that the pieces can separate might even prove useful if someone wanted to animate it getting destroyed. As for the textures, i'm getting pretty good at working with VMT's and VTF's... i will likely alter them myself. Speaking of which, it seems like there might be some kind of grain problem that needs to be fixed in the VMT... but that could just be my camera settings in SFM. Not sure yet.

Because of the poly count, I could not thow the entire model into one body, which is why you have to assemble the 3 parts. I think it may be because of some sort of limitation that was set long ago for the tools I use.

Thanks Psi, I wish the skins were a bit better. As I said, it was a quick throw together. (I am getting better at this... lol)

Using this for a film to test a city map... working out pretty awesome so far! In fact, i think it might be the only rigged motorcycle available for Source that has movable wheels and movable fork. So definitely mad respect to you, PTe Jack! Thank you.
