This truck was Deprecated, it has remained here for those still using older versions of the game no updates will take place, the newest versions of the game have a much better Cascadia model. this one has some serious draw issues and errors.

can u please release an update to this because ever time u go to change the engines and other this it crashes the game out and until this it fix i can unsubscribe from this im sorry please fix this please i really love to have this truck

The countdown to retirement of this truck is started officially I sent notices to the skin authors and skin users on workshop today and come July 7, 2021 so long it has been a good long ride!!!.

Thanks Dennie, but please be aware this mod will be Deprecated on the production release of 1.40. Please save a copy to your local drives mod folder if you wish to continue it as it will be taken down from Steam Workshop at that time. I once agfain encourage folks to make new skins for the SCS Cascadia it is an excellent truck. Thanks!

The mod was incredible, sadly it's retirement time.

1.40 is MAJOR overhaul folks, it will take the community quite a while to even know what broke as SCS has not provided the tech info yet nor the Moder's tool kits to fix stuff with for this one. We will examine what was done in 1.40 once released and determine if it will end the life of this mod or can we limp it along a while longer.

The SCS Cascadia is very well done, I highly recommend it. I am keeping this one up so those using it can do the skins they want for the new SCS mod using SCS Mod Studio 2, this one has lots of skins that I need help migrating, eventually though it will be deprecated as intended. THERE WILL BE NO MAJOR REWORKS, CUSTOMIZATION'S from Gallmim and I. I am supporting those with fleets of them so games do not break. PLEASE do skins for the SCS Cascadia and identify them for that truck as SCS Cascadia in your mod titles and use this time to migrate your fleets towards that excellent CAD drawing based truck. The SCS one works great and will be maintained by SCS for the game version changes coming which are significant as a Graphics change is expected in 1.40.

also I am so happy the fact the trucks you made from every single truck in the workshop by you is 100% clean and not that very laggy or overdone high quality type of truck the trucks I have gottem by you are the best because they don't lag me what so ever :)

Wow its been a long run, I can't believe this mod is going to retire. As stated in the comments, I also appreciate the hard work put into this mod throughout the time it has been active.

thank you for the work you have put into this truck and for keeping it alive... i do suspect though that this will have a better engine sound than the SCS counterpart to be released. i will still use this mod all the way until the scs one is released. thank you again and happy retiring.

Galimim - Okay what about all the skins on this mod and those we have done? Is the new trucks template the same? path for the new SCS truck? these are most of the issues and of course having literally hundreds of them in my various company fleets? Has SCS considered the DT transmissions into this? This mod seems to represent their behavior very well?

your right no gear shift sound it is automatic DT-12s are all automatics so no grinding etc. you need seperate transmission and engine mods for that. remember to select the transmission choice FIRST before engine and if you get a warning obey it and change transmissions or it WILL crash.

if you want to use the sisl addon, you download it than put it in your documents/american truck simulator/mod folder than start the game and activate it in the mod manager.

you will need to find the Sisil site and ask them to enable it for this truck.

This truck seems to be working fine in 1.39..... no issues so far.

the only issue i have with this truck is that when i bought it, the grill and the fenders had a huge gap between the rest of the body. other than that it was a great truck

Yep, no air horn or turn signal / flasher sounds on 1.39.0.

for newly released 1.39.0 the mod is not working correctly, indicators/blinders sound not working
