The mod appears to be unable to work on singleplayer.

Cheesy try this as it uses some nasty model that deffinatly isnt 100% the same as the original hunters.
1) Enable the developer console from one of the Options submenus(i believe its under advanced in controls)
2) Bring the developer console up, type "sv_consistency 0" without the quotes into it.
and bada bim bada boom your gotta plum in your room

I tried it Skylah and it works for me, as for just the sounds as a mod however i am afraid modding l4d 2 is a next to all work no demand scene at this very moment, i have commented on your profile instructions on how to have the sounds only from this mod :)
