Hey, when you purchase that thing for 10k energy credits from Prime machines to ''make machines like them'', what it does? After researching the technology which says you get some new trait for pop I don't see any new.

I would argue the Shroud's Children is not made redundant by the Shroud Teachers. Religion is not a uniform block of thought, it branches, it branches a lot.

P.S. How does Sapient Machines effect AI Rebellion mechanics??

DrBLOOD if your down to update old mods the Slavery Expanded mod is awesome and adds a slaver enclave and roaming slavers in the galaxy. The author said the will not be updating it.

I find it most amusing that my fanatic materialist empire considers the Shroud's Children superstitious despite the fact that I have finished the psionic ascension path.

It seems there is a bug with the Shroud's Children where the option to increase Spiritual Attraction can't be canceled once aquired for the first time. Would you take a look? Thanks!

Would you be able to support Cultural Overhaul with regards to the Prime Machines? I currently have a playthrough with the Machine Cult civic, but my only option with the Prime Machines is "Soulless abominations!"

I've found a typo - when I started subscribing to the Shroud's Children the response said "we'll" instead of "will". It was something like "it we'll make sense eventually".

Is it intended that a machine empire gestalt consciousness cannot purchase the prime machine's sapient machine trait because they lack the policy for synthetic citizen rights?

It seems odd that robots cannot buy the robot trait.

I have a one thousand five hundred star Eliptical Galaxy. I used the "SURVEY" cheat code, the "CONTACT" cheat code, and then researched every leftover project. I couldn't find your enclaves.

Even stranger, I couldn't find the Artisan Troupe and friends either...

I did check Share Communications. They also get an event to "spread" communications after a while.

You know what I bet it is? You unchecked Share Communications in the Country Type files. Many countries, including the Sleeper Hive and the Vanilla rendition's Great Khan cannot be discovered after a certain point in the game because other nations can't fire the Event to meet them. To go around this, Share Communications needs to be enabled. That way, nations late to the party can still experience their presence.

How do these Enclaves spawn? I suggest that you do it like the Vanilla rendition does and make them show up in their own Custom Solar System Initializer. Then, use Events to spawn them. That guarantees their spawn rate at one hundred percent in every game.

I also don't understand why I can't get the stability increase from the Universal Hive if I'm Synthetic Ascended. Unlike actual machine empires they still have to deal with happiness, factions, etc. they play just like regular people, just with robot bodies.

Expended Stellaris Ascensions Peaks mod has peaks that allows players for going bio/psionic/synthetic path without vanilla limitations.

@jasonpepe: Spiritualists synthetics? You found the one case that I didn't consider and will lock you out of some options. Also, how? (I will try to correct it later)

@Nikal: I considered picking up the Slaver Enclave mod, but I'm focusing on another mod right now. Mercenaries already exist in the game now in the form of the Marauder Empires, so I think a mercenary enclave is not that essential for now (even if the ones from the mod worked differently).

@sunshine aerobics: Indeed materialists don't like the Shroud's Children - and spiritualists dislike the Prime Machines. But let me ask: did at least an option saying "Superstitious Lot!" (or something to that effect) appear?

About the opinion, you should get +1 opinion with the new enclaves every year they are in your borders. In my tests it did work. What other mods are you using? Can you send me a copy of your error.log and save so I can take a look at what's happening?

Oh, looking through the code the shroud enclave doesn't give anything because I'm playing as materialists. Makes sense, but isn't immediately obvious.

Despite having the Prime Machines in my borders I can't get the +100 opinion for them, and the Shroud's Children doesn't give any dialogue options.

Sapient Machine trait is available from the start as part of empire creation, I think you need an "initial = no" line for it to be actually only available through the enclave.
