its a great nascar mod but i wish they would take out the ai names because it gets rid of the nascar legends ai names

my car gets stuck at 149mph which is weird cuz all the bots can do like 160-180

Quick question, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to change the names of the ai for this mod because I like the nascar legends names over cars and want to do something similar with this mod?

Its most likely a conflict with another mod, i had the same issue until i removed my other mods and it worked perfectly.

It's exactly what cmdblocc said. It's a generic model from another game that I've changed a lot for body work. So the front and read are inspired from the lumina and thunderbird

I think they're modeled after the Chevrolet Lumina and Ford Thunderbird, which you can read about here [en.wikipedia.org]and here [en.wikipedia.org].

One of my favorite mods, but any way to make the AI drive faster? Around Talledega they'll top out somewhere around 190 mph on Expert. I've tried loads of different AI mods but nothing seems to make them go faster. Anyone got any tips?

When is the update to fix the cars not having wheels on extreme damage coming?

The steering ratio on these cars needs major adjusting. On a 900-degree G27 I barely move the wheel +/- 5 degrees and still can't keep the car going straight, even when using the C-class.

I was never forced to adjust my wheel parameters (in-game or externally) for the entire game and testing all the current mods, until this one. I'm sad.:steamsad:

Best Nascar mod on the workshop. If I can suggest a couple improvements, the windshield glass needs to be more reflective. It's hard to tell there's even glass there from the external view. And there's a bit of Z-fighting in the cockpit. Other than that, it's like I'm playing a modern Daytona USA. :steamthumbsup:

I forgot to mention the paint scratches and the Ai racing edits on ovals, awesome!
With the Ai on road course tracks I had the same problem making nascar legends Ai, they cant control high power on road tracks.
C is best for that and A is only for ovals I found.

This is really good, the models the skins and the Ai sets, the parody sponsors and custom sound, also the in game livery creator is brilliant too 10/10
Perhaps Some Ai using different colour wheels.

Is there a solution for the cars being Over-Revving that much with AT transmission? Its borderline unplayable with such inconsistent transmission / gear ratio.
I tried tweaking but none of the configs seemed to help. Am i supposed to just tune the engine or upgrade it all?

Great mod, especially the textures, although the AI frequently hits stuff on corners in almost every track (I tried C, A and S classes)

This is my favorite mod of all time on wreckfest. I sit for hours racing with the same setup as the ai. One or 2 things though...... could you raise the ai's to speed to 190 or 200mph? 155 around a big track is pretty slow. and they tend to randomly swerve up and down the track when they get close to the line or other cars. thanks

Okay, I figured out the issue, it was a glitch! Fixing it was simple too, just had to load up a match with normal damage and the wheels were back on, so if those who are having that issue does that, they will be fixed.
