This mod is haunted it keeps turning itself off and on. Help.

So, the mod still works but it just has the caution icon on it because the version is not updated in the .MOD file, so everyone can still play with the mod like you have been. I deleted the files as you suggested but it didn't help the mod file upload error. The problem right now is updating the actual mod through the launcher, and it says:
"Mod upload failed"
"There was an error while uploading your mod. Please verify your mod files and credentials."
So here is why this is confusing, the file being uploaded is the original mod file and has not been copied. The file ID is the same as the one in the workshop and it still comes up saying it can't upload with that previous message.

For me, what fixed the launcher was going into the "Uninstall a program" window and uninstalling the Paradox Launcher v2. I then removed the following folders;
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Paradox Interactive and then removed folder launcher-v2
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Paradox Interactive and then again launcher-v2 there
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Programs\Paradox Interactive and both launcher folders there

that fixed it for me.

The new HOI launcher is giving problems and preventing the update, if anyone has suggestions for a fix let me know please.
