i tried to paint the hat and nothing happened

It's just a retexture. Default colors aren't replaced until you paint the hat.

does this replace the team captians or is this a seperate model

Thank's, normally when i ask for help i just get ignored, you rock!

It's just reskin for Team Cap. You can find it by selecting "Browse" from left tall bar, then going throught Games —> tf —> player —> items. Under items you can see subfolders, but we need only three: heavy , medic , soldier . In each of them you can find heavy_officer , medic_officer and soldier_officer respectively (you can quickly find them since they are images) — these are models.
Finally you can spawn them and paint anything you want with Hat Painter.

I subscribed to this, but i cant find it in game. Sorry if i sound like a noob but is the name differnt in game? or am i just blind?
