I would love to see a rebalance of the liquid filter so that it consumes something closer to the power of the sensor + shutoff it imitates (maybe 20W seems fair, not 120).

Funny enough,
I use both this mod and the smart pumps (which combines filters with the pump itself)
smart pumps still use the combined cost of 240 watts
this mod makes the basic pumps actually balanced, now smart pumps make look bad after using this mod.
However, i find myself using both pump types based on situations, instead of just power saving.

So thank you, this makes the pumps actually balanced.

To the people asking for a liquid version - the whole reason that this mod halves the power consumption of gas pumps is that the mod author doesn't think gas pumps should take as much power as liquid pumps. If he reduces the liquid pump power requirement, then they're back to taking the same amount of power, completely invalidating the reason for lowering the gas pump's power requirement in the first place.

Is this compatible with the automation upgrade?

This is great, need a liquids version too!

Yeah the filter shouldn't be *as* cheap because it has the advantage of blocking input if either output is blocked - don't need to do an overflow loop. This mod is a good balance.

@icuurd12b42 yes but the whole point of that setup being less wattage is because it has pitfalls which you need to account for and requires extra research + setup time.

the gas pump should just pump as fast as liquid pump.

Is there one for the liquid pump?

The gas filter power consumption should be 10W because you can make the filter yourself with a few pipes, a gas sensor and a gas shut off valve (10W)...

Quite agree, you could just put you point of view in the description.

The power consumption of an air pump should never be the same as that of a water pump. In the official setting of ONI, 10 kg of water vapor is transmitted by an gas pump, which consumes at least 4800J of electricity, while only 240J is required for 10 kg of water to be transmitted by a water pump, the ratio of which is 20:1. I think there is an urgent need for balanced adjustment.
