I've managed to make it a replacer. Do I have permission to upload it to Steam/Nexus with links to the originals on here and ModDB?

the way it works is that when you enter an area, the game goes to a list to choose what spider will appear, I never remove any default creatures but I add new ones to the list, this mod adds MANY of these spiders so you will see these on a high percentage, but the default will still show as well

Could you possible make some of these replace the frostbites? I always found the vanilla a bit...too cartoonish to find scary. This however looks leagues better

its not actually a black widow, its a nasty spider from the dragon age game (I think)
the model was given to me from a friend, I just did some tex edits and rigged it to a beth skeleton

The black widow is a little messed up but is a accurate mod

I love this mod and I HATE spiders.
I feel like frostbite spiders look silly and overdesigned, these strike fear into my heart and make me genuinely not want to get near these things or their lairs.
I wish there were more reskins that made me afraid.

Either way they still look kind of cute. Regular frostbite spiders have a camel spider vibe. These boys are more like true spiders

@detective diabeetus, it looks really fluffy hairy, but the mesh is actually smooth, that effect is from a good normal map (I really like the spiders)

These are cuter than the actual frostbite spiders. Look at that fluff!

I've used this mod for quite a while now. These are nasty critters. They bite and hit HARD with those fangs and forelimbs. The biggest ones can 2shot the player up to adept difficulty, and 3shot you up to expert. Seeing a pack of them turn and flex those foot long fangs at you in the dark is none too healthy either. They definately add OH CHIT!!! moments to dungeon crawls. Very nice work Dogtown1.

yeah spiders are cool, I think I will add some huge irradiated killer tarantulas in fallout 4

The first time I fought a swarm of these new spiders I freaked out and threw half my arrows into them because I didn't want to get close to them...at all. They scare me.
Thank you so much for creating this mod. I didn't think Skyrim's regular spiders looked scary or intimidating enough.

This gonna keep the default spiders? These are great models but i kinda like the vanilla spider, i just I do not like that ALL spiders use the same model.

if you use the latest skymomod... you dont need this mod as these spiders are already added in with that mod
along with a horde of other scary shlt

this is what i been lookin for mod, a mod to add some variety and enhance immersion.

if you usse momod and this all you need to do is used wyre bash to merge the levelled lists and then they both work

after i added the mod "tame the beast of skyrim 2" the mod dos not seem to work

I have another mod btw that affects the monsters, "More Monster" mod. Does this mod apply into another mod that customizes the creature's skin.

As far as I know the mod only affects 2 out of 5 same creatures, meaning mostly the 3 are skins of the creatures are basic. I think they didn't put any spider skins on that mod.

I dont know if this even work, you see I've started a new game and didn't encounter any of these inside the cave. Does that mean the position of this mod on the list is wrong or this mod doesn't apply on the spiders inside that cave?

Yes, this would give me nightmares too. There's no horror film yet that's come with a creature scarier than spiders. Well done all the same.
