i cant find game with this configuration

What is with the merged mega mod in this collection it is not in the list anywhere for the load order?

I dont really understand why would this collection include LAO chaos edition but not the standard ver. :(

I was going to write a comment but it ended up being too long so I made a discussion post, if someone could take a look and see if they would be able to answer my question I would appreciate it.

i tried playing this online with a buddy (same mod list) and it keeps crashing on me

i did take all of those mode here. but i dont want the game too be too easy if it ruind the orginal game

Does anyone still play Torchlight 2 with this mod list?
If anyone is interested, I would love to find some people to play with.
(I Prefer to play on Hardcore 1 death mode )

for me everything works very well it seems...including the Far East Pack ! Just hit lvl 74 with my Ronin and i have to say...perfect collection of mods for TL2. Changes a really good game into an absolutely overwhelming over-the-top game ! Thanks a lot for this awsome collection and even much more Thanks to every single Developer of the including Mods..or even not included Mods...you all do a fantastic work and making a lot of people very happy :)

Well it crashes on trying to get to the main menu. It shows the initial loading screen, but at the moment that it would get to the "Load / Resume / New Game" screen it crashes instead

@EnlightenedModifier Just wondering, does it cause crashes on MP? Or were you talking about having crashes on SP?

Right...I've been getting by using the rest of your collection and Reiners gear, plus some other mods. Shame that the Far East packs haven't been updated. Other than that the rest of this is working without a hitch. Thanks so much for putting it together!

@EnlightenedModifier Seems like the author hasn't been updating his mods. You can probably play without the Far East Packs, if you are not playing the classes from the mods. The mods mostly add only new classes and the equipments for the classes it adds, No major gamplay changes or any sort.

For some reason, even after redownloading them, the Far East packs cause crashes when I have this whole collection installed. Load order is fine, idk what the issue is though.

Ok, after reinstalling torchlight on both computers, we finally can play on LAN!

Kinda got it working, it was at first a load order issue on my brothers behalf but now that it's fixed he can join, although he keeps crashing within a minute or two of playing so I don't know :'(

I supposed the recent update of Synergies mod once again broke the compatibility...?

Also having problems with LAN play :(

Anyone having problem on playing LAN with this set of mods? It seems I cant get this working with the same mods, and even the same loading order! Any tips?

@Swe_Robby problem with Steamworkshop... some people said reinstalling Steam works...

I seem to be having a problem with this one. After having subscribed and let the TL2 launcher check for mod updates, when i enter the Mod Launcher i see a different list of mods there than what is supposed to show according to the mod order shown above.

This is how it's supposed to look like:

I am missing "Enhanced Retex part 1" and "Enhanced Retex part 2", and i have a mod entry with a blank name and author, mod version 0, and status "Compiled for outdated Game Ver." . I don't know if that's the missing retexture mod or not.

Just gotta say after downloading this mod pack, i played almost 10 hours everyday...the far east pack classes are mindblowing, each with their own animations, weapons, armour etc, that added with the loot drop and difficulty of the other mods makes it challenging at the start but you feel so badass once you start getting real gear! An awesome mod pack, 20/10

In my opinion, it was a good thing, but if you do grind way too much before going in to an area for your level, it might become sorta easy. Since I was playing with 2 other friends at the time, we just went straight in and took the challenge. (Proabably why we died multiple times) On the other hand tho, the Derinkuyu Raid is still insanely hard every single time I tried.

@Kitty Rampage I never really played this pack in SP myself. But from your videos, I did notice the amount of enemies are far less in your SP videos than in a MP with two players and there were quite a lot of elite monsters, as well.
I stopped playing the game ever since life got so much busier now, so at this point, something in this pack might have altered the difficulty slightly I cannot be sure. But back then when I was playing with 2 other people on elite difficulty, the amount of monsters and the strength of them, especially in an open area, were really hard to defeat. We could slide through the edge there if we pay more attention to HP bar but still, we died multiple times even until level 23. It gave me the motivation to grind and get better gears before I went into an area was supposely be my level.

Another example, because I like making videos lol Besides it gives a better idea of what I'm talking about. In this one I run the spider cave without using any healing pots or getting low on health. Without even really moving at all in combat even... Just hold right mouse button to win. Any advice on how to toughen things up would be great. Thanks!

Anyone find the game to be far too easy with this pack? Not sure exactly what is causing it but it's just too easy for me. I'm on elite difficulty and at level 14 have used about 10-15 healing potions max, probably even less. I have almost 200 healing potions in my inventory. Killed the general in about 30 seconds without needing a single potion (didn't even drop below 75% HP). Have tried playing as an Embermage, Necromancer, and Tenebris each with similar results. (Though the information listed is specifically from my Necromancer)

Now it works :) Have Steam deleted and complet new installed.

@comander_thor You can probably go ask the author of Enhanced Retex. All I did was putting the links of these mods together into one page. The problem is either on the author's end or on the Steamworksop's end. Most likely Steamworkshop, but doesn't hurt to ask the author for an alternative solution. (ex. alternative download link)

@Prophet Enok I can't tell you if it's okay or not because some of your mods I've never used them before. But since most of them are also Synergies addons, you can proabably ask the author of the mod.

Enhanced Retex part 1 + 2 doesnt work, have downloaded it 20X

A problem with Steamworkshop when it comes to large files. Just delete the enhanced retex 2 folder in the mod folder and re-subscribe the item and let it re-download. Keep doing it until you get the full download complete. I had to do this multiple times before....Steamworkshop....sigh....

a friend having trouble with the mod enchanced retex 2... it wont download for him and when he starts torchlight it shows up blank D:

Probably not the right place for this, but is there anywhere I can go to see whose playing with this compilation? When I check on multiplayer it seems that nobody is running the same addons as me. Basically, I just want to play with some folks...add me if you're up for it, I just started playing.

@Mask Gehenna this is copied straight from the mod's description. "SynergiesHIGHLOOT is a small companion mod that makes ELITE monsters and HERO monsters drop more loot per kill. For those who feel the reward for their efforts are not enough.


Both monster types will have a higher chance to drop unique socketables as well as armor.

@PanchoGrande yea because of the conflict most likely... probably stick with single player for now until Essetntial mod author fix the issue.

@fly790420 Whenever someone joins of even when I try and join his game, I immediately crash. Do you think reinstalling all of the mods could repair this?

@PanchoGrande not at the moment, the bug has been existing for a very very long time. I don't think there will ever be a fix for it...but hopefully...

@PanchoGrande the current conflict doesn't prevent you from connecting to each other but it does however, crash the host when the other player level up or things like that. Unfortunately, the issue you are having is the desync bug, a major bug from the vanilla game. The dev team doesn't even bother to fix it... probably one of the reasons why this game never really gotten popular...

MP my friend and I can connect, but sometimes he just stops moving and there seems to be massive latency issues. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem

we play all the time in normal multiplayer and see eachother in list ect. ect.... just when we try mods.. whether he starts a game or i do. we both cant enter a game we started..

you should make sure that both you and your friends can see each other online in the in-game friends list first. Sometimes it shows you are offline on your friends' side even if you are online. Just keep log out and log in until you can see your friends' online status.
