this works for me. I typed "exec HausVoc" in the console.

Quick recap its notebook++ ok DO NOT OPEN IN THE REGULAR NOTEBOOK IT WILL MESS UP THE CODE AND YOU'LL HAVE TO REDOWNLOAD THE CFG FILE AGAIN.

Ok guys I found the root of the issue, is that you need to open the cfg file in notebook while the game is open. Also, it takes 2 minutes for the Voice lines to load in-game.

So, its not broken, rather just people don't know how to use it.
Either way good job on the addon!

Its been 4 years, this vocalizer is officially out of service. Tried it right now and none of the lines work.

I'd like to modify an existing vocalizer, what do I need to add to it to make the look command spammable?

If you ended up breaking vanilla keys like I did then here is a link to the default console command keys. It was a bitch and a half to find these lol. Now that I know how to fix these I'm gonna try to fix the vocalizer one more time.

After binding the keys they all show in the console as unknown command. now my vanilla z and x vocalizers are broken so I give up. Getting this to work is beyond me especially when I follow the tutorial precisely and it still doesn't work.

it does. You dont even see the problem that I described. You cant set it thru the settings. Had to bind it thru console.

If you follow the video tutorial and the bind menu still doesn't show up, make sure this addon is enabled, and you don't have another vocalizer or radial menu on.

I'll be honest this guy isn't "Dead", but rather dead in attempting to fix some issues on this. Trust me it is likely a pain to attempt to work around valves bs.

lol? He doesn't have to mention anything in the description, there is no requirement for anything dumb like that. I think you need to chill dood. The issue is that .cfg files and such do not execute anymore via vpk files. Valve's "great" security fix. They are too lazy to go through the workshop and remove malicious addons, instead why not just block the "malicious" problem of it. You have to manually execute the cfg file and that is not even haus's fault. Many addons similar to this are having the same issue.
