Also bumping to say that I really want to be able to make my own presets. Anyone tried it in 1.6 to see if it happens to still work?

yeah, I saw it was in the tags. It took uninstallling, restarting my entire computer, then reopening steam and reinstalling before it worked, but it works now. I am so freakin happy

Unsubscribe, restart steam and subscribe again. It's 1.4, look at the tags.

Is there a way to make the filter recognize items from vanila extended? trying to make a filter for the tools, but for whatever reason it will only recognize vanila items or categories.

@Seriously? Your message actually made me really happy for you. It is such a simple thing, but having the ability to customize the base game presets this way makes a great difference and improves the "user" experience (QoL) easily. Enjoy both the game and this wonderful mod and have fun with your own presets :)

having never used xml before i cannot believe how easy it was to add some of my own filters to this mod, thanks for making this so damn simple and easy to customize. Literally NEVER edited an XML file in my life and within an hour i can crank out whatever filter i want. kudos to you charlotte

It's easy to add their own with just xml. Or go ahead and edit the file, though updates may break your changes.

Found out the issue, there's a conflict with the stockpile priority mod.

I sorted it by reorganizing my mod list using Rimpy (Thank the GODS someone brought a mod sorter back) and put it near the top. :)

I'm not sure why but there are several items that keep being added to my stockpiles that shouldn't. I've been trying to simply create a stockpile with all items the deteriorate outside of Cold... I'm not sure what is going on, maybe it's because they are from other mods, but either way. Is there no easy way to do this? I'm sure you have found a good way to achieve this right? Your presets are pretty dang useful by the way, so thank you!

Perishables checks by code, it's a special filter but it's hidden from the stockpile panel.

I'm wondering, does the perishables option actually look at all the items in the game and if they have a temperature requirement? or it all of this hard coded? Maybe add that to the description if so...

Is there a list of item names, or a way to find them? Like the Human Meat thing mentioned in the other comments. I'm asking so if I am using this mod and I find something specific that I want to include/exclude from my stockpile presets, how would I know what ID name to use when making changes in the XML file?

@wixard This is because you use the wrong syntax. For example, human meat is not "HumanMeat" but "Meat_Human" and insect meat is "Meat_Megaspider". if you put these in <li></li> under the <disallowedThingDefs></disallowedThingDefs> under the <fixedIngredientFilter></fixedIngredientFilter> it should work fine – at least it works for me. Hope it will help. Let me know if you need some more advice... I will try to do my best to help :) I also usually use Rimworld XML auto-documentation [ludeon.com] by milon. You can see some examples there and find where you should look for additional examples in Core files.

Thanks for working on this mod. It would be perfect for me if I could figure out how to nitpick the presets exactly the way I do in-game. I think I get the general form of the xml editing but are there any recommended resources for more fine tuning?

For example, I want to remove human and insect meat from my General Freezer and give them separate stockpiles. I'm not having any success copying the syntax that works for "Ambrosia" in the default xml to disallow "HumanMeat" or "MeatHuman", those things fail to load. I'm not sure if varieties of meat are a different type of thing with different syntax, or they're labeled something different, or...

Yeah, that was my intention, I stubbed it all out. Eventually, it's not even hard to do, just tedious. Anything GUI is tedious in RW.

Yes, I must say this is even a bit better than the previous mod Simple Stockpile Presets. I will continue my game with your version of stockpile presets. Thank you for your work :) Just one question: Would it be possible to make some in-game option window where you could set new / change old presets so I don't need to go and find the XML file to change something?
