For any curious, from my experience playing in 1.5, completely non-functional

Just FYI the continued version of this mod works fine in 1.4 (despite the version only including up to 1.3): https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2213696082

The fan version of this mod has been removed, but KongMD didn't even update his version to 1.1 after he told someone in the comments that he would. If he has any hand in the fan version's removal, then one would hope that means he has his own version planned, but it doesn't seem like there's any reason to believe that.

I will mourn the loss of this mod, fan updated or otherwise. Rest in peace, soon-to-die colonists. You will be missed.
Eselt 18. nov. 2022 kl. 11:03
Anyone happen to know "why" the fan version got removed?
kooky112 17. nov. 2022 kl. 21:25

doctor: quick, get them to a bed! we need to get this heart out...it's the only way to save them...
later...
doctor: huh, i'm holding their heart, but they are still alive?
nurse: i mean, we DID put them on life support.
doctor: interesting... well we should probably get the healer mech syrum. completely generate a totally new heart with no issues.

himedo15 27. jan. 2020 kl. 10:18
I haven't tested what happens when they reach 100% for ovbious reasons, but digestive failure continued to go up even while on life support. Is this intended? do they just not die at 100%. Is this a bug or maybe a problem with load order?
Lost Storm 1. dec. 2019 kl. 20:34
I'm looking for a mod that makes the prosthetics more powerful, example: faster crafting, higher quality crafts and higher harvest yields due to a colonist having robotic limbs/archotech limbs
Krazor 1. dec. 2019 kl. 16:30
I'm getting this when i try to load this mod

https://gist.github.com/3fc68e2ef2f72a294b08e7a36d731627

this is my share log. the system shows up in game but has no image to place so nothing happens when i place it.

also i get those error messages right after loading the mod so... i had a bad feeling before even going into game with it.
KongMD  [ophavsmand] 26. okt. 2019 kl. 5:11
I know why the disappearing bug was happening and I've nuked it for real this time. I only put the LifeSupport.dll file in my Github 'release'. However, people were using 'Download Zip' green button in Github, instead of the release .zip I made. Adding the DLL to the main repository fixed that problem. If you are still getting the problem, please re-download the mod from Github.
GoblinEngineer 22. okt. 2019 kl. 9:54
Hey @KongMD, I've also run into that issue with the disappearing LS building. I'd like to mention that it worked for me as recently as last week before this issue began. Is it possible that it's having issues with RJW?
Pumilius 16. okt. 2019 kl. 21:23
Things seem to work with a few minor hiccups. Liver failure still seems to occur. My prisoner died before liver failure could reach 100% so I'm not entirely sure if life support prevents death then. Further test subjects are required!
ShiningKakera 16. okt. 2019 kl. 15:35
With this and Death Rattle Comatose, had a patient I was doing a fullbody destruction and reconstruction of, and I noticed when his liver and both kidneys were removed, he was still experiencing liver failure even though he was on life support. Every other one seemed to function correctly.
Pumilius 15. okt. 2019 kl. 19:37
I just gave it a quick shot before work. Indeed the LifeSupport.dll was missing entirely! It wasn't in there because I got it from github initially where it seems to be missing too now that I look at it.
I have yet to test out the functionality, but I can build it now and I have faith.
Thanks KongMD, you're a hero of the rim!
KongMD  [ophavsmand] 15. okt. 2019 kl. 14:01
@Pumilius Thank you for posting that HugsLib file! I was able to successfully reproduce the problem. The short version is the game is not loading the LifeSupport DLL file. I posted a guide for what to do if you get that behavior as a pinned thread in the Steam Discussions forum for this mod. Please check it out and let me know if it helps.
SauerKraus 14. okt. 2019 kl. 16:08
Does the life support work for bleeding out?
Pumilius 13. okt. 2019 kl. 4:24
I too suffer from the disappearing life support machine bug. A bit unsurprising by the amount of mods I have at this point, but I can't quite figure out what may cause the incompatibility.
Maybe you can gleam some information from this hefty log.
https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/70c57f84c1e9a7d7f871cb3e0a778a2f

I remember this used to work last time I played a year ago and it'd be a shame if I let all those raider organs go to waste!
darkett 9. okt. 2019 kl. 12:07
any chance for support with combat extended/combat continued?
Chrysippus 6. okt. 2019 kl. 19:25
thats pretty dark Pyre, very rimworld.
Pyresryke 5. okt. 2019 kl. 18:08
This is actually really useful for vampires, I'd imagine. Just have a bunch of lobotomized blood bags in the heart of your base so they can feed without pissing anyone off.
