Uhh I need some help, I have edited the settings so they spawn within around 5 minutes and have only ever seen one spawn on default settings. Can anybody help me here?

You said it's not ideal for server with large number of players spread out. This server only had one player online for a short while. So essentially a solo game. Is there no prevent to keep a wave from spawning while the previous wave is still alive? Do waves spawn around offline players?

In my defence, I do cover that in the Target Audience section of the mod description, with specific language saying the mod isn't ideal for servers.

As far as stuff only appearing around 1 player, there are a lot of factors to look at to determine why that happened (where the player was, what encounter mods are loaded, threat scores, etc etc)

With default settings, and only one player this spawned 58 grids around them while the server ran for ~1 hour. Sim speed reduced to .3

Seems excessive.

Alright I may be an idiot but how does one find the SubtypeName of a SpawnGroup? I want the waves to only spawn one set of npc craft, and blacklist those from the passive spawns.

Lightning Rod and Aerodynamic mods on there aren't for planetary encounters
My experience, I came across a enemy faction called Wastelanders building and a neutral faction was dive bombing the building with a ship, after nearly dying from his missiles trying to grind Wastelanders faction, made it home and Wastelander faction sent a drone to attack my base since I lost all that rep grinding it down.

Thanks for the reply! I guess i understand the idea, or starting to, hopefully. Now with it said, a single player or 2 players close to each other is considering one cluster right? which means if i set that value to 5, i'll get 5 ships, and so does a player that is far away either alone, or with someone nearby as well?

TotalSpawnEventsPerCluster - you're close. If there are a group of players in one area, that's considered a single cluster (having it be per player would get out of hand). The rest, you're correct on!

TotalSpawnEventsPerCluster this would be amount of enemy ships that will spawn after the wave spawner triggers for EACH player?

TimeBetweenWaveSpawns this would be the timer in which each ship will appear until the attack wave reach its max group size? the default value is 8 on my config, so im guessing 8 seconds for each ship to appear?

That depends on the encounter mods you have loaded. All this mod does is request a burst of Space Cargo Ship spawns, the rest is random and based on the encounters available.

Looks like the crash happens with Smart Turrets. Seems like the spawner spawns in a ship, and then smart turrets begins to choke on it.

Hi! i was wondering if anyone here (including the author) knew how to make an automatic attack script for airborne drones.

The script would make the drone automatically pilot itself to the nearest block that belongs to and enemy player or faction and stop at 75 meters from the block and remain there until it is destroyed

(this part would just be an added bonus) Also if the drone would patrol the area when the block it is targeting is destroyed??

If anyone can hook me up with a script like this I would really appreciate that. I'd do it myslef but I have no idea how to script on space engineers :( if anyone can help me send me a message and if you can't then thats cool thanks anyway
