Butthead 17.8.2022 klo 17.17
how do you use this
CyberVibes 10.8.2022 klo 8.38
@BoomSpoon As long as you have the demand for new cims coming into your towns or cities then yes. Although it might take some time if you have a lot of jobs that need that level of education.
Vito ;) 10.8.2022 klo 8.28
so is this a way of fixing the stores thath always say not enough educated workers
CyberVibes 25.3.2022 klo 12.30
@TheTntExpert29 Set the Adults chance to arrive higher like 80/90%
TheTntExpert29 25.3.2022 klo 12.20
What settings do you recommend to set so the Not Enough Educated Workers won't be too much of a issue? And to keep people Educated.
Moyocoya 5.2.2022 klo 3.19
Will it work with "Real time" and "Optimized outside connections" ?
Advanced 23.11.2021 klo 11.36

Conflict
njaguilar70 1.2.2021 klo 20.41
this is conflicting with life cycle rebalance.
. 24.1.2021 klo 12.56
I put a building down and the first 20 young adults to come in were all highly educated lol. I domt think I have other mods that affect education and people. This mod is just broken
V0IDD 30.11.2020 klo 14.05
I have a pretty good education but this will make it way better
fxsupermaster 23.9.2020 klo 12.19
nvm
fxsupermaster 23.9.2020 klo 12.18
How do I use this?
Asalih 4.7.2020 klo 6.33
Is this mod working with life cycle rebalanced and real time?
PhazezGova 29.4.2020 klo 12.51
Incompatibilty with real time?
Loltak 3.4.2020 klo 8.36
I use it and it seems to work, I lowered again the education parameters and I saw an effect on the statistic graphic.
I just desactivated for a other purpose and the overall education level rise again.
datstank 2.4.2020 klo 7.49
Anybody know if this works with sunset harbour?
Kati71 1.2.2020 klo 11.28
This is absolutely fantastic, except...it reloads what I guess are defaults a lot of the time. I don't change the file except through the mod's interface itself; so it shouldn't find the file unreadable.
Smugger 16.8.2019 klo 18.15
Github Repo?
Alistair 28.7.2019 klo 11.07
That sounds good! I am actually looking for an alternative for the citizen life rebalance mod, which is "less invasive", i.e. which solves only the death wave problem and sticks otherwise to the game defaults. I will probably try your mod for my next city.
monkey_sheng  [tekijä] 27.7.2019 klo 18.18
Yes it should help. I took the same idea and implementation from mods that provide this feature because this mod will most likely conflict with those mods.
Honestly, this could just be an extension to mods like citizen life rebalance. Maybe in the future I will see if I can merge it into that mod.
Alistair 27.7.2019 klo 11.48
How do these age range values work? Does it mean that the age of the arriving citizens is randomized within these limits? If yes: Am I correct that this would this help to avoid death waves?
Leader of the Zakonistians 26.7.2019 klo 14.18
so wait does this work as intended now?
Royal Raven 26.7.2019 klo 6.27
Lol, I see. Well glad they updated it.
monkey_sheng  [tekijä] 26.7.2019 klo 2.50
I am not sure how exactly it used to work, but I had seen uneducated young adults go straight to uni and become highly educated lol.
Royal Raven 25.7.2019 klo 20.36
So how did education work before Campus with cims? Would they go through each education lvl at random?
Royal Raven 25.7.2019 klo 20.34
I think I figured out what helps, I increased my budget for education past 100%
This is an old save, been around since CS got first released. It runs great but I had issues before Industries DLC came out. I had up to 12 Million in money, then it started slowly decreasing. Nothing I could do would fix it. Industries DLC help me get out from losing money.
monkey_sheng  [tekijä] 25.7.2019 klo 19.36
Default setting is what I am using and you can always tweak it to your liking.

That being said, this mod probably won't help with your problem. The Campus DLC free update added a new mechanic where cims have to go through each education level at the right age phase, and must have the prerequisite level of education. Which is sounds pretty good to me, and this mod follows the same logic.
I would imagine that for whatever reason, your cims missed the right age to go to school?
Royal Raven 25.7.2019 klo 19.07
So I can sub to this and let the mod do the work on its default setting? Or do I have to tweak things after subbing?
I just started playing the game again after a few years, I didn't get Campus DLC, but I do notice the education changes. I use Watch It! mod and I am always in red with all education, from elementary to college. But I have plenty of schools around and built.
What was changed in education since I been away from CS?
monkey_sheng  [tekijä] 24.7.2019 klo 21.56
Oh really? I tested it a few times myself and it was working alright, and I really can't think of any reason why it could behave like you described. Strange. Maybe your steam client didn't auto-update the mod by any chance? If so, maybe try unsub and re-sub?
CyberVibes 24.7.2019 klo 9.20
Thanks for the update, the settings now stick when applied in the Content Manager / Mods area of the game after setting the values i clicked save to xml, however if you try adjusting the settings in game they initially look like they have saved but returning to main menu see's them reset to defaults again.
monkey_sheng  [tekijä] 24.7.2019 klo 6.31
Guys I think I have found and solved the problem. FINALLY. It was messed up when loading those values from the XML file. Seems that Unity Engine and/or its library is not very friendly with handling XML files, causing the mod to use default values every time, as if the XML was broken.

Now, instead of using XML files, the mod saves and loads in binary directly, which solved the problem I think.
CyberVibes 22.7.2019 klo 8.00
Thank you for checking this out for us, no stress just wanted to make you aware of it, a few are going to try it out later, i'll get back to you then, thanks again for your help.
monkey_sheng  [tekijä] 22.7.2019 klo 6.05
Well guys, it turned out that if I subscribed to this very mod that I uploaded, I would have encountered the same issue. But with the VERY SAME MOD in my local directory, everything has been fine. Real strange.

However I believe it is working now, after making none substantial changes to the mod and fiddling with steam workshop for a few times.
Tell me if it has solved the problem!! Cuz I really don't know what happened and why it started working for me.
I have never made any mod for any game before so...:steamsad:
