After several hours of painstaking coding, I finally updated the mod to 1.6.

Nah, nothing changed. Took thirty seconds to re-upload the mod
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 16:31
Oh jeeze, that's out already, huh? Are there problems other than the game saying it's not 1.6 compatible? I haven't had a chance to play the game yet, but the last couple updates, I didn't change anything meaningful. If you're desperate, I would be surprised if anything broke unless they changed things with meals. Otherwise, gimme until this weekend to take a crack at it.

1.6 update?
Professional Dumbass 8. apr. kl. 17:26
The extra 1 ingredient is something that happens with vanilla 4x bulk too so dont worry. :)
TaikaJamppa 5. okt. 2024 kl. 0:15
Uuu, this looks interesting... Maybe my gourmand chef-wannabe could finally keep up with the demand! :steamhappy:

Have you completed the research prerequisite? There should be a tab specifically for cooking meals in bulk

let me know if the problem persists
robearlgordonshaw 10. juli 2024 kl. 17:36
not showing the make ten meals at all in the task list

cant seem to see the bills when cooking
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 14. apr. 2024 kl. 8:24
Updated and organized how my recipes sit in and among the other bills. Should be less of an eyesore.
GourdFire 1. sep. 2023 kl. 8:59
For what it's worth, I don't think the 1 extra ingredient is from your mod. I've seen this twice in the game before I ever found your wonderful mod.
Galvenox 31. dec. 2022 kl. 16:55
no problem at all, thanks a lot, and Happy New Year! haha
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2022 kl. 15:26
I can't make any promises, but I'll certainly look in to it; thanks for bringing it up!
Galvenox 31. dec. 2022 kl. 13:00
hey this looks great! any chance for compatibility with Vanilla Expanded gourmet meals and bakes and stuff? that's a lot of stuff I think so I understand if not
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 11. nov. 2022 kl. 8:04
I'm glad to hear that! Thank you for the feedback, and I'll keep a closer eye on my cooks to see if I can't squish this bug you've mentioned.
ThermalAtlas 10. nov. 2022 kl. 18:24
Options are also great, aside from my slight in favourable experience with the excessive cooking problem. This option allowed me to enjoy 1.4 as a good QoL coz MOC took quite a while to update into 1.4
ThermalAtlas 10. nov. 2022 kl. 18:20
It's understandable
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 10. nov. 2022 kl. 17:19
Thank you for bringing those points to my attention. I have fixed the description so it no longer looks like I'm purporting to know what I'm doing and that this mod was anything more than a pet project.

Secondly, without further information regarding what circumstances the bug you're experiencing occurs, I have no ability to help troubleshoot. I feel like I've always had issues with pawns cooking additional meals when set to "Cook until we have X," but that could be because another pawn had started cooking the same bill while the meals were being hauled to the stockpile, a stockpile was improperly configured, or because I've been using this mod for way longer than I remember and it really is a coding error on my part. However, because this mod only adds recipes and doesn't change anything deep within the game files, I'm reluctant to admit guilt here. There really isn't anything to "optimize" on my end.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 10. nov. 2022 kl. 17:19
Having said that, the reason I got into modding was because I wanted options. I wanted more than what the workshop offered me and by golly if I had to make it myself, I would. If there's another mod that suits your playstyle better, then absolutely use that one.
ThermalAtlas 10. nov. 2022 kl. 9:12
Also MOC doesn't require research at all for bulk cooking above the simple stuff.
ThermalAtlas 10. nov. 2022 kl. 9:11
With Master of Cooking updated to 1.4, try avoiding using this mod. Pawns will cook extra out of seemingly no reason despite meals already reaching the bill set limit and present in a stockpile. MOC is just much optimized in my experience.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 22. okt. 2022 kl. 7:54
Working on 1.4 but holy shit, I cannot wrap my head around some of these bugs.
👁 6. aug. 2022 kl. 9:18
Hey you're right, using your own mod as a framework I could just grab the values for sweet rolls and Gourmet meals and copy paste, tyvm.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 6. aug. 2022 kl. 7:58
It's actually really straight-forward to make simple mods like this! Check out the guide to modifying mods linked in the second paragraph of the description; all you would have to do is find your mod file that defines the meals and then add a recipe for bulk crafting.
👁 6. aug. 2022 kl. 0:06
I wish I could get a mod that lets me cook Sweet Rolls and Gourmet meals in bulk with Vanilla Expanded.
//SlipperyPete:. 26. juli 2021 kl. 10:26
Thanks for the update!
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 25. juli 2021 kl. 23:04
Updooted to 1.3
Not playing much on 1.3, so I'm even less likely to catch bugs, unintended behaviour, hiccups, etc. Buyer beware
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 15. feb. 2021 kl. 23:56
Updated this mod after TYANANN had the INDECENCY and BLANTANT DISEREGARDED to STEAL mY work.

(We both just added the word "Bulk" to the end of the def names, resulting in a recipe with two outputs. This mod should play nice with the base game now)
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 25. nov. 2020 kl. 15:57
@Thenlar Well shit; oops. I'll have to investigate that when I have some free time.
Thenlar 24. nov. 2020 kl. 23:38
The base game now appears to include bulk cooking meals in lots of 4 at a time. This mod actually removes that functionality until you do the research!
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2020 kl. 18:33
Somebody gave this one of those award things. Not sure if they'll see this message, but thank you. I'm sure you had plenty of other mods you could have given that to, but for whatever reason you chose this mod. That was a pleasant surprise when I saw the notification email, and a much needed blip of dopamine.
The Lord Of Lmao 29. juli 2020 kl. 21:52
Yeah Ill make an extra save and test it on that then.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2020 kl. 21:19
I always experiment on a test world before adding/removing a mod to my main game, and always act keeping in mind that something could become irrevocable. If you truly cannot part with your save, you should be making regular back-ups and especially before making any modding changes.
Having said that, this mod should be safe to add/remove at any time.
The Lord Of Lmao 29. juli 2020 kl. 20:34
It's higher than mine I dunno how to make mods at all lol. I wish I had skill so I could make a few patches and stuff for certain mods. I'll re-activate it again and test it. Is it safe to add to a current game? I was just using the rimcuisine2 bulk recipes.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2020 kl. 20:23
That would be a generous statement. More along the lines of "I coded it so it [maybe] works." My skill level is barely amateur, so don't expect much from me xD
The Lord Of Lmao 29. juli 2020 kl. 20:13
Nah it only takes like 2 mins to research it so should be fine lol. The problem I was having before with the mod was it changing the rimcuisine 2 bulk recipes too so I had 2-3 bulk cooking recipes before I even finishing or clicking on the research so it didn't interact with other mods all that well. You re-coded it so it works better then?
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2020 kl. 19:53
Sorry, I wasn't clear - when I first made the mod, I added a research requirement. I only recently picked the game back up again and started playing, only to find that the code behind the research requirement had somehow disappeared (or maybe I just never added it in the first place and was really careless when playtesting). So I added the research back in. If you don't like it, you can just use devmode to instantly finish the research, or I included a link to a guide (not mine) that shows you how to access the files you're subscribed to on the steam workshop, and you could just edit out the research requirement yourself.
The Lord Of Lmao 29. juli 2020 kl. 19:44
Yeah probably best taking the research part away and make it ready out of the box. Good call.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2020 kl. 19:30
Originally, I had intended for the bulk crafting recipes to be locked behind a small research hurdle. Nothing a sufficiently-advanced colony couldn't handle, but it stopped you from being handed the ability to mass-cook meals right off the bat.
The Lord Of Lmao 29. juli 2020 kl. 18:31
ah cool, what did you update? Rimcuisine 2 only gives you x4 meals cooking. I preferred your mod over it lol.
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2020 kl. 18:17
Finally updated the mod; hopefully it works as intended now.
The Lord Of Lmao 24. juli 2020 kl. 18:19
Hey sorry man, I just went through all my mods and found the culprit, it's Rimcuisine 2 just for your records. It already adds a "bulk cooking" recipe for many different meals when you unlock "advanced cooking" in the research window. Maybe worth putting on the mod page so people know they might not need it if they have that though. At least we know now haha :-D
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 24. juli 2020 kl. 18:02
That's really weird; I wouldn't have expected that to happen, nor am I sure what advice to give you at this point. My mod only adds a new recipe, not a new item, so I have no idea why it would rollback your meals created.
The Lord Of Lmao 24. juli 2020 kl. 17:34
Tested it, when I get rid of the mod all the bulk meals mod they all disappear lol. Weird lol.
The Lord Of Lmao 24. juli 2020 kl. 17:12
Good thinking I'll do that now xD Brb
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 24. juli 2020 kl. 17:03
I can't say with 100% certainty, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. Especially since you've NOT researched the meals. Should be good. If you want to be safe, you might try running a test world with your mods plus mine, then remove mine, to see how it reacts.
The Lord Of Lmao 24. juli 2020 kl. 16:52
Is it safe to remove this mod in game if I haven't researched your bulk meal research? I want to test if the bulk meals disappear when I remove it xD
The Lord Of Lmao 24. juli 2020 kl. 14:34
Thanks for the reply :-) Now the million dollar question is which mod is it haha :-P xD
Nerdygamer1  [ophavsmand] 24. juli 2020 kl. 13:42
Just got around to playing Rimworld again and noticed that the research requirement isn't working as intended. I've fixed it; I just need to reupload it. However, to answer your question: since you say you have two recipes for bulk meals, it sounds like you have another mod that enables bulk cooking without needing research, and me updating this mod shouldn't have any impact on the other mod. So, you could probably go ahead and unsubscribe from this mod if it doesn't align with your Rimworld needs.
The Lord Of Lmao 24. juli 2020 kl. 11:10
I have 2 sets of bulk meals recipes and I haven't even researched bulk meals yet? Is this anything to do with your mod and do I need it if I already have them lol?
