For anyone who wants this addon to work I have a very very simple solution for a fix, pretty much you download this addon using the steam workshop downloader website, put this in your addons folder, and install Death Animations by MysteryPancake which has customizable death animations, and you can choose the death animations from this addon in that addon which is updated frequently and works very well, that is all.

Unfortunately, it seems like the new version of common infected deaths by cyni keeps crashing my Gmod whenever I try to load it in.
I'm gonna have to ask @Cyni about this.

Whenever players die they simply T-Pose and fall to the ground. What should I do?

@kira i think i've just understood how this addon works, and this is pretty weird - it doesn't use the actual playermodel - it deletes the player body after death and spawns another ragdoll, for some reason. that's why player colour changes to default (and also why it doesn't work with PAC3). but i guess there were no other ways for death animations in the times when the addon was created

Even if there was an NPC version, it'll likely restrict it to the base NPCs or else all sorts of hijinks would happen with custom S/NPCs.

At least the code's available on the workshop now.

wish that was for npcs as well, but i guess creator isn't interested in making that
