... there are some invalid characters in the texts.xml definition..
\config\texts.xml:<string name="DC400F12">χιλιόμετρα/ώρα</string>
\config\texts.xml:<string name="DC400F12">公里／小時</string>

I use the following workaround: zip the "config" folder from this mod and copy that zip file into the "mods" folder.

I found what the problem is, but I think it is difficult to fix unless the developers change the new texts file they've added as invisible mod recently. It seems to have a higher priority than other text-changing mods. I hope they will add new text to files or add an option to change units directly in game.

Hello Δezzelshipc, thank you very much for this mod. I am using it for almost 1 year now and it is great, I really like it! Unfortunately with the latest update from 23th December 2021 on stable version it is not working anymore. I tried Unsubscribe/Subscribe and Disable/Enable options, but speed is back to mph for English language for saved and also new games.

Nice you did it in all languages. Hopefully you used my mod to base it on so I dont feel as useless now :D

Australia: km/h
New Zealand: km/h
South Africa: km/h
Ireland: km/h

kph is just what people who are used to mph use when the correct formats weren't taught by the state, during pre-metric days

Does this do a calculated conversion or is it just a GUI change?

@honor of the samurai so we do in germany although in the past the traffic signs only read 50km now they have read 50... lol .. all I meant to say is that ui has to read either "kph" or "km/h" and not "kmh" :D

km multiplied by hours is not the velocity it has to read "kph" for english and "km/h" for non english..
