Generaloberst Yukari Akiyama If I recall correctly, yes. I tried to make sure China could still be invaded, but your dynasty in China will probably still be susceptible to historical events in China (it's been a while though, so don't quote me on that lol)

If I set the rule for China to go through all its dinasties as in history is this still susceptible to spawn an ahistorical dynasty after a successful invasion from either a player or AI?

has this been updated with the latest HIP? Something seems to be messing with founding the Jomsvikings. I have waited almost 150 years after having those 4 counties and they never formed

@Kirikaze The Paradox Forums, look up "Historical Immersian Project" and download it manually from the forum page...I also have a collection for workshop mods compatible with it so far

any news on the crashing, it seems hip is done with frosty 3 so if you could fix it the mod would be able to be used forever without uodated anymore, anyways thanks for the mod

Thanks for the reply. It's just what supercid said that makes me question whether I want to add this to my game or not- "maybe the launched invasions will just be in different locations." I don't really want anything janky happening

Hmm, there are new provinces but i assume they didnt remove the original ID's, maybe the launched invasions will just be in different locations

Imperium of Ambition I'm not sure, I've thought about it and it is something I want to do but I'm taking a break from modding for a while and then seeing what happens, but hopefully if I get around to doing more CK2 modding, I want to do the Mamluks and stuff

Hina I don't really see how it could override it since I copy the same exact file from the history folder after installation after every update then put only a couple lines of code in, everything else being the same.

Just a note: In HIP, "Turkish" culture is a new melting pot which will only emerge after 1200 for Turkmen-culture rulers in Asia Minor. Turkmen culture itself comes into play for non-nomadic Oghuz (see EMF 5.09 changelog). Your history file for Turkish characters however overrides this feature, as it knows only "Turkish".

Hina It doesn't include the Formable Mongol Khanates because HIP already has its own Mongol stuff so I didn't want to make things unnecessarily complicated by including mine too. Also yes, it overrides some HIP vanilla files, notably the scripted effects file and the Norse and Turkish character files, but other than that, everything else are files I made separately to prevent overriding as best I could. So, if there are any submods like that, you might want to check them first to see if they override one of the files I already have overwritten and if it does, I can't guarantee that they will be compatible

Does this include your Formable Mongol Khanates or should I install in separately? Also, do you think it plays nicely with other (sub)mods alongside HIP, generally speaking (i.e. does it override vanilla files)?

if there are no conflicting lines in the rest of the files, you could modify '00_scripted_effects.txt' (in HIP files; delete the one in the mod) yourself by looking for

"spawn_childrens_crusade_light_troops_effect = {"
and
"spawn_childrens_crusade_heavy_troops_effect = {"

and changing the troops to something less. this mod have respectively 600 600; 20 20; 100 100; 30 30;

BallsOfSteelBaby It signifcantely lessens the troops the Children's Crusade gets when it's launched so it's not overpowered
