Does it give addtitional spawn point or does it replace the drop pod spawns?

Hello! I have a question, how does it work with med bay? Does it replace the spawn point of it or is it a different system? Thanks!

Nuklear, its a spawn point, where you respawn after you die or where you spawn when you start a game
