could you perhaps make a version without the building portions, so that the elevator could actually be used for just going up and down? Would even be better to have half section versions so one side could be going up while the other goes down.

@ Duchey I just loaded the unit into the projector to check it out before trying to build it. Love the idea just playing by myself will take some time to get one up. the hardships I put up with....

The Welders dont want to work on this rig which is weird because the other elevator rig did work?

Glaalex I dont beleive it will work becasue its diferent grids. I try to build a complete version of the elevator with the rig attached but then the pistons and merge blocks create a second grid anyway... you'll have to build it your self.

But be aware that if you use this in a MP server, most likly it will create a lot of lag the bigger the elevator gets so... use it wisly ;-)

Also you can use this type of set up to create an automatic drilling platform :-)

Hi Richard, this blueprint in MP Server only shows the bottom part (without piston and up). If you like i will try to get merge blocks on it and let you know if it will work..... see you.
