I think it looks better if you can see the Items you have stored on the map. At the moment I write a blog about my gameplays with pictures how it looks like, so I will also publicize your new mod like this one^^

@Noire, hello, it's great you liked my mod. Open storage like this one is not available for resources as most of players wanted something with a roof but if you want similar building to this one I can create it. :)

Hi there,
as you can see in mod description this stockpile doesn't store resources but materials.
If you're using Extended Storage Management MOD it will offer possibility to store only one type of material.

Yes, this is issue with Storage Management mod, Author made it so it can work properly only with core game warehouse and barn, other buildings will work only partly - data won't be saved so resources/materials chosen earlier won't be checked after relaunch of the game but don't worry, I will probably make my own management in time but first I need to take care of much more pressing matters :)

Mine has been working great since, idk what happened but its all good now! Just wish that when i select what resources to be stored in each one it doesnt stay selected when i reload the game and then there just filled with multiple items. mostly just a cosmetic reasoning but maybe its an issue with managable storage?

@Hamstacraze , tested again on a 10 different villages with only stockpiles as warehouses and villagers are behaving like they should, no issues as the ones you described.

OK, can you send me your save file with it?
I will check it out, this way I won't need to build another village to test it.
It was tested on villages with only stockpiles available and it didn't occur then so I'll will need to look into your save file.

I have all of the mods in the load order except a few like research academy, and pithouse, sheds, grind stone. With addition of your new mods, never ending resources 100% terraform and free build (vanilla buildings only). Problem only happens when no other warehouse building in use.

I would need list of all your mods currently in use. This mod was tested so it's not it. Maybe something else in interfering like mods that alters human behavior.

I installed this mod and moved my resources from my warehouse into these stock piles and tore down the warehouse. Now my people just stand around when there is building or terraforming required of them. I get no storage available signs and no work progresses at all on building that require no materiels (ie pavement) unless I use the priority button.
