Anyway, i will definitely use your roads in a later built, coz they look brilliant. I would definetely recommend them.
I tested the UK theme and indeed the markings do appear - looks really great!!!
Sadly i started my new built on Linux with vanilla Azure Gulf (SH) map, where your theme is not applicable.
Anyway, very good looking roads and highly configurable. Excellent job, mate. Well done.
Placing these roads and using AN, i get optiones for the median and lights, but i do not get any lines, neither the full line at the edge of the road nor the dashed lines between the lanes.
How do i get lines on the UK Roads???
(I subscribed to all content of the UK Road Collection including Props and Decals.)
The only thing i'm missing right now is a 2L2W to create interchanges, i use it quite alot as a overpass. Ive tried using UKrural 2 way, but the look change does not feel right, so currently im using 1 lanes. But tbh it also look iffy,
I see @knighty already described the issues below. It's really a shame you're done with this project! I'd love to donate to have them fixed.
As a previous comment mentioned, the pavement setup on these breaks them with intersection marking tool. Lines on the edges sit just outside the pavement region defined in the road. This value also makes the roads merge really badly with existing roads in the game. I've played around with mod tools and changed the pavement values and removed the transition node which makes the connections far better and fixes intersection marking tool.
Is this something worth looking into for you? Thanks again for the work, as someone who's just been poking around the road editor I can see how fiddly it is getting roads setup right.
I spent a few hours one day trying to make markings to see if there was a technique
I even tried on completely level terrain but they just never looked realistic
Sadly I gave in
I might go back to this and edit some of the items in the editor to create my own, as I seem to have a few common transitions
One of the worst are where Bus Lanes and the number of lanes changes
Sadly the Bus Lanes just have to come to an end
I also now need asymmetric Bus Lanes for junctions
I'm having a similar problem to others with the intersection marking tool. If I have a slip road coming off the main carriageway and I try to add markings to the intersection then some of the lines stop abruptly halfway across. Has anyone else seen this? Do you know how to fix it?
A few glitches, already mentioned below
For lane mathematics combinations of / asymmetric lanes are required
However, when placing the 3+3 Motorway across the river the supports would not show
Sadly it looks like it is either floating or supported at either end!
Please advise
The junction in question is a 3 lane 2 way highway, with slip roads joining from a roundabout above
Just loaded the game up and unfortunately all your roads are bugged, i've been using them for months with no issues, but all of a sudden i have this problem, any chance of an update, great collection by the way, keep up the good work.
Since the Intersection Marking Tool updated to 1.4.1 the edge markings have not shown up on these roads. Apparently the pavement width value is incorrect when I asked on that mod's page? Is there any chance of an update that would correct that?
I love these collections by the way and really appreciate the work put into making them.
Thanks :)
That's not a motorway and has a different look and model set.
