Also, any advice on building this on a server that you can't paste ships into? I've made seperate projections for the l/r engines and got them installed (with difficulty, flying them into place and 'attaching' and prayin clang doesn't throw my shuttling ship), I've done the gear on the bottom and projected the rear door (but haven't built it just yet), but the cockpit bit is throwing me off.. If I empty the ship, I did successfully get it to attach, but then I can't add the two control seats. If I put the control seats in first, then try and lower the small grid stuff into position, it always seems to damage and 'mangle' up the small grid stuff too bad, and there isn't enough left to make it work.. Anyone built it successfully and attached everything and care to share their experience? :)

Not sure if it's update-related or not, but the left side thruster doesn't respond to the scripts to launch/land etc.. The right one move to 'forward', 'reverse' and 'up' positions but the left just sits there.. Anyone else experiencing this?

well i had a huge nerdgasm when i tried this out xD

@Freddie, uhm.. it's a bit tricky. I originally used only one large rotor base(bottom one) to connect small cockpit grid to large one. I added another rotor base to reinforce because bottom one is vulunable to damage alone. if you think one is enough, just skip one of them. for full build, place the rotor bases first then seal up with glasses. and start building small blocks from the bottom base, one thing you need to know is that you have to adjust rotor displacement of bottom rotor back and forth to build armor blocks behind Pilot MFDs. actually it's ok without those armor blocks. it doesn't make big difference with those armor blocks. so you can skip them if you want. another thing is that you need to merge small blocks from bottom rotor with other blocks from another rotor. remove upside glasses, merge them by using the simple merge ship which is also needed to build ramp door parts. feel free to leave a comment for any other question :)

one more thing, how in the heck were you able to build that freaking cockpit!? iv'e tried so many times but ended up just redesigning the front glass part. side note, i'm trying to build the ship legitimately from hand/ welders

@Freddie, in survival mode, hit ALT+F10 -> Admin Tools -> check ' Enable creative mode tools' then you can paste the blueprint into the world as you do in creative mode.

@Senor Weetbix, basically you cannot script the jumping. autopiloting just makes it easier to find where planets/moons are at. thx :)

@Racavi, you need some love to start something and finish it. I think you have more love toward that ship than me. actually my love is depleted to start new one for now. if you're going to make your own Starfarer, my advice is to start with hydrogen tanks that would be good standard to scale other parts. good luck~ :)

@woostyboy. wow your cockpit looks pretty neat. flight seat on large main grid. If you're going to use passenger seat as pilot seat, remote control is only option to go as I know :)

Also, is your control seat on the same small grid as the displays, or on the main large grid? I tried having the control seat on a small grid cockpit set up of a large grid ship (via small/large rotor trick) but it wouldn't control anything, I had to use a remote block :(

@Racavi, oh it has something similiar to hydrogen tank of SE in his belly. its model might be good to convert into SE but it takes real efforts and passions to finish no matter how good it is.
